I thought I’d love it since the original left me cold, but I was wrong again—it’s a disaster. I don’t get the ratings because the first thing you smell is palo santo, and it’s nothing like palo santo.
Its only strong point is longevity, but it smells like clogged drains, not that invasive sandalwood from Santal 33. It lasts forever but doesn’t deliver; it smells clean and hygienic, though it doesn’t suit many people. For the price, there are better options.
Very woody and unisex, smelling clean yet warm. I like wearing it with the original You to mellow out the alcohol hit. Longevity is moderate.
Dry and woody with no surprises. At first, the ambrette musk note really bothered me, but after a few hours, it develops that Glossier touch—like your own skin with a soft floral note. It’s nice after the initial blast, but not worth the price. On me, it has little sillage and medium-to-high longevity. Maybe it works for those who like woody, relaxed, and simple scents, but I prefer the first one.
This Glossier You Doux (I have it as a decant) is a mix between Santal 33 and Another 13, period. I have to say I expected more and didn’t like it. Definitely, out of the three, I stick with the original Glossier You. All three are good, last quite a while, and project moderately to well. Of the three, this is the most unisex; Reve is directly feminine, and You, while not entirely, is too.
