  I didn’t love it, but it deserves to be known. Like other Jo Malone scents, the sillage and longevity are light, but it has originality. How many chocolate perfumes can handle the heat without being bothersome? This one does. If you’re looking for gourmand chocolate, forget it; it smells like herbal cocoa, and I didn’t detect cinnamon or vanilla. And one question: exactly what is the ‘blue agave’? The plant, a derivative, or the flower? Anyone know?

  It’s unisex, with a cocoa base reminiscent of Tom Ford Noir, but here the agave really stands out if you know the note. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s perfect for the handbag: a fall day, walking the dog, checking out seasonal decor, far from glamour. The name says it all: it smells like agave and cocoa. Medium longevity, warm and carnal, clinging to the skin without being sexy. It’s like a cashmere sweater: minimal, elegant, and doesn’t need to shout to prove its quality.

  Caught me off guard. I was dreaming of cocoa, vanilla, and cardamom, but none of that. It smells unique, more like a Caribbean soda or iced tea than sweet chocolate. The vanilla, cinnamon, and vetiver are there, but the cocoa is herbal, not gourmand. Perfect for summer, though it doesn’t last long: two hours or less. Its charm is that it’s not a copy, it goes with everything, and it softens any scent, taking you down an uncommon but delightful path.
