Excellent price-to-quality ratio. I use the EDP and it is truly long-lasting, with a very good balance in the evolution of the notes. At first glance, it looks simple, but after 2 or 3 minutes on the skin, the mix of notes emerges and it stops being indifferent; it surprises and is masterful. It’s a fragrance for men with personality, not for kids. Longevity over 6 hours and very good sillage.

Price-to-quality ratio is a solid 10. The EDP is a beast: lasts over 6 hours with an incredible trail. At first, it seems simple, but after just 3 minutes on the skin, it explodes into a masterful blend that’s a total surprise. Perfect for men with character, not for kids.

I arrived in March 2020 and the first spritz shocked me: very sweet, synthetic, and it felt suffocating. I let it rest in the closet, and now, at room temperature, what a difference! Violet and papyrus take the lead, with fresh moss in the shade of a tree and an earthy touch. Sometimes I get a tingling note of pepper and incense, with a sweet tobacco base that never gets cloying. The trail is still heavy at 4 hours. I love it and it exceeded my expectations for the price.

First impression, March 2020: It arrived four days ago along with the Azure. Due to the hustle and the heat, the first spray bothered me; it felt suffocating, extremely sweet, generic, and synthetic. I let it rest in the closet. Today, with the liquid settled and at room temperature, I tested it again on the back of my neck, behind my ears, and on my wrists. Wow! A striking, intense, and enveloping blend. Violet and papyrus dominate; the moss feels fresh, like in the shade of a big tree, mixing with the earthiness of the declared note. Sometimes I get a tickle in my nose from the pepper and incense. In the base, there’s a sweet tobacco, not cloying despite the habanero and sweet notes. Almost four hours have passed since application and the sillage is still heavy. I’ll do another test with fewer sprays. For now, I like it and think it exceeded my expectations, especially considering the price of 100 ml (around $37, approx. 700 pesos with shipping and taxes before depreciation due to oil and the coronavirus).

  • I really like this Bentley line; they are synthetic scents that evoke luxury and seriousness, with good performance and ridiculous prices. This is the only flanker I hadn’t tried and almost bought blind, but I managed to get a decant and saved myself. The opening is chaotic and undefined, with oranges and violets… what is this? Then the dry-down doesn’t improve; it’s so synthetic that identifying notes is hard, I only catch a very blurred violet reminiscent of Fahrenheit. It seems very generic, smelling of everything and nothing. I definitely won’t get the full bottle; it makes no sense. Performance is moderate, not the beast mode of Absolute or Intense, but it works. Comparisons to Chanel Bleu TF Noir don’t seem accurate to me, but with that jumble of disparate notes, it might remind others of something else. It has little to do with Bentley Men, Intense, or Absolute. Calling it ‘Black’ is misleading; it’s more of a transitional fragrance, versatile, not attention-grabbing but easy to like.

It’s not the ‘beast mode’ of its sibling, but its projection and longevity are decent. It seems to have personality, though one might expect more given its Black Edition presentation. Overall, very acceptable.

It’s not a ‘beast mode’ like its sibling, but its performance and longevity are decent. It has its own personality, though I expected more given the Black Edition presentation. Overall, very acceptable.

This perfume helped me realize I don’t perceive scents well when they have pepper notes. This came up with Kenzo Homme, which wasn’t the ‘beast mode’ everyone claimed. Coming back to this one, its longevity exceeds 6 hours, but the scent is confusing; I barely notice it and it smells synthetic; at times I even get a powdery vibe. I recommend trying it first; it might not be what you expect.

It’s like a battle between four ingredients while the rest play supporting roles. I bought it blindly after my great experience with Bentley Azure; at $47, it was an opportunity I couldn’t miss. The Black Edition bottle is heavy and robust, screaming luxury. At first, everything fights for the spotlight: tobacco, violet, moss, and earthy notes. The secondary notes (pink pepper, nutmeg, incense, cedar) are barely noticeable. I don’t even perceive the rest (patchouli, jasmine, orange, etc.). It lasts 5-6 hours, which is little for an EDP, and the sillage is discreet but constant. Suitable for almost all seasons except winter. I loved how it performed on my skin, though it would have been perfect with 2 or 3 extra hours.

It feels like a confrontation between four ingredients while the rest of the blend acts as a cheerleader. I bought it blind based on good reviews and curiosity, wanting to follow in the footsteps of Bentley Azure. At $47, it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. I love the combination of ingredients and the bottle: heavy, robust, and high quality. Unscrew the cap, and it smells luxurious. What confused me most was the opening, where four notes fought for the spotlight. On my skin, after a few sprays, I detected tobacco, violet, moss, and earthy notes. In the background, moderately, there’s pink pepper, nutmeg, incense, and cedar. The rest (patchouli, jasmine, orange, sweets, papyrus, and habanero) I don’t notice at all. Longevity isn’t great, about 5 or 6 hours (a bit low for an EDP), and the sillage is discreet, reaching an arm’s length, but consistent. Almost ideal for any season except winter. I loved how it performed, better than expected, though it would have been nice if it lasted 2 or 3 more hours.

  • A very rich fragrance from the start; you can smell the violet mixed with the citrus, especially the orange and pepper. These latter notes fade away gradually while the violet persists, dropping slightly in the dry-down but always present, blending with something sweeter from the habanero and wood. That violet will remind you of Fahrenheit, another scent that triggers memories. Good performance, nothing beastly.

  • The earthy patchouli you need 🍃. I bought it thinking it was cheap with a tangerine top and a ‘retired gentleman’ base. As I kept using it, days passed, and I started getting compliments from family and friends. It gives me a clean, masculine, earthy vibe, like right after watering the lawn. Although it’s a heavy scent, it works great in the heat without being overwhelming. I consider it ALL SEASON: night, day, gym, dinners, cold or hot. It’s not just for me, but it always draws attention from my acquaintances.

  • I was looking for that earthy patchouli and found it. 🍃 It was a late discovery; at first, I thought it was cheap, with a tangerine top and a ‘retired gentleman’ base. But after using it more, compliments from family and friends convinced me. It gives off a clean, masculine vibe, like right after mowing the lawn. Although it’s a heavy scent, it works great in the heat without being overwhelming. I use it year-round: at night, during the day, at the gym, when eating, in cold or hot weather. It’s not just for me, but it always draws attention.

  • The Bentley Infinite Intense starts with an unmatched punch. I like the rest of the collection, but nothing beats this opening.

  • I own all three Bentley Black Editions, along with Absolute and Intense. While none are bad, the Black is simply the least appealing to me. Its longevity is moderate: about an hour and a half of projection, then it lingers on the skin for another four hours. The scent reminds me of a classic from my childhood, but that nostalgia makes me feel old. The top notes are rich and sparkling, promising a lot, but once it dries down, an undefined note kicks in that takes away some of the magic. Still, it’s perfect for everyday wear; you can spray 10 or 12 times without worry and reapply if you want.
