  • Baiser Vole Lys Rose is a simple yet elegant fragrance that reminds me of Baiser Vole EDP. I think it keeps the original DNA, though I feel this version is sweeter. I thought the raspberry note would make it more fruity, but my nose doesn’t pick up that scent; maybe that’s why it feels sweeter to me. It’s feminine and delicate: a very subtle rose, a touch sweet, accompanied by lilacs. It’s not a rose fragrance, not really. It seemed like a great option for summer, floral and lovely, lasting 6 hours on my skin. The sillage isn’t huge, but it’s noticeable, attractive, and distinguished.

Baiser Vole Lys Rose is all about romance and femininity, with pink lily as the star and raspberry adding a sweet-fruit contrast. Perfect for the bride’s wedding, fresh spring afternoons, or my Caribbean afternoons where summer feels eternal; its presence doesn’t overpower but is definitely noticeable. It has that powdery, delicate character of the original version. Lys Rose is like its bottle: elegant, clean-lined, with a silver cap; feminine, tender, and romantic just like the pink in the bottle. It definitely carries the elegant Cartier stamp, but with a playful, fresh halo for the romantic woman who wants to stand out. Definitely a good purchase, and I’m looking forward to enjoying it on my daily walks here in this delicious Caribbean where I live.

  • I bought it blindly just by checking the ingredients. I arrived super excited, even celebrating that I’d found the perfect perfume 😍. But oh, disappointment! 🤧 To me, it smells like jasmine mixed with mint or peppermint 🧐. It’s more of a chypre style than floral… I don’t know, I didn’t like it 😐. I’ll have to figure out how to know which perfume suits me and my pH 🤔🤔.

It brings back memories of those childhood perfumes like Nathalie, with lots of fruit. It has great longevity and sillage, and the Cartier branding adds a nice touch of quality. If you like slightly youthful fragrances, this is a great find. Perfect as a gift for girls 18+.
