It has an incredible scent, but it fades in a jiffy. Longevity is my Achilles’ heel with Avon perfumes. I love their fruity notes and that spicy touch, but the trail is weak; on my skin, it lasts no more than three hours.

Avon’s Attraction Rush starts citrusy and herbal, with that touch of wild strawberry leaf, then turns sweet with jasmine and ends in amber with chocolate. The trail is moderate, lasting about 3-4 hours. I think it’s ideal for daytime or cold days, perfect for work. I don’t feel that sensuality many attribute to it, nor the mystery the brand has; it’s missing that ‘something extra,’ that musk that adds magic. I think it works better for ages 25 and up.

It’s a delicious and well-made perfume, though it promises more than it delivers. Upon application, it smells strong, with personality and potency, but on my skin it fades in an hour. Edit: Hours have passed and now it smells much stronger. I realized fragrances need time to settle; testing them multiple times on skin often yields pleasant surprises. What I smell most is peach, Indian jasmine, dark chocolate, and sandalwood. It’s exquisite, but fixation depends on each person’s pH. You have to try and experiment.

Delicious fragrance, one of my favorites from Avon. I love this brand for its quality-to-price ratio. Attraction Rush kicks off with peach and a citrusy grapefruit touch, then chocolate emerges, highlighting the warmth of amber. It’s sweet, sexy, and elegant without being cloying. Scent 8/10, longevity 6/10, trail 6/10, value 7/10, versatility 7/10, packaging 7/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.
