  1. Caught the quince and tangerine notes, but the lavender everyone praises is completely drowned out by that fruity shine that dominates from the start and lingers through the dry-down. Obviously a synthetic, generic deodorant, but ultimately, it’s RICH. I’m surprised by how deep the base notes are here.

  2. I haven’t tried the fragrance, but I love the scent of the deodorant. It’s youthful, sporty, and fresh; in my opinion, it’s the brand’s best release. Too bad it’s hard to find and doesn’t have great longevity.

(Body Spray) I’ve been using Apollo since it launched in Mexico with that extravagant ad campaign (like a raffle to win a trip to space). Here’s my take: it’s herbal, citrusy, aromatic, and woody. To my nose, there’s no lavender or amber; it’s a dry aromatic fragrance. It works well in spring, but its base of dry, resinous woods makes it valid for fall too. I don’t see it for winter. It handles summer okay, though extreme heat isn’t its best spot. It’s good for daily wear, though I’d prefer Excite for certain situations. But among Axe offerings, Apollo doesn’t disappoint, especially if you’re looking for citrus scents. Blessings.

I’ve been using Apollo since it arrived in Mexico with that amazing campaign to win a space trip. It’s herbal, citrusy, and woody; to my nose, it’s dry, without lavender or amber. It works well in spring thanks to its base of dry, resinous woods, and it holds up through fall, but it’s not for winter. It works in summer, though extreme heat isn’t its best spot. It’s fine for daytime, though I’d prefer Excite for going out. From Axe, it doesn’t disappoint, especially if you’re looking for citrus. Blessings.

Axe Apollo: clean, fresh, and sexy. One of the best Axe scents, if not the best. It’s my favorite. Buy it blind; you’ll like it, and women around you will love it. It’s often compared to Fierce, Montblanc Legend, and Sunrise (85% similar), but it’s 95% similar to Playboy New York. Cheers!

Axe Apollo: clean, fresh, and sexy. It’s one of the brand’s best, almost the best. My absolute favorite. Buy it blind; you’ll love it, and girls will flip over it. It’s often compared to Fierce, Montblanc Legend, and Sunrise (85% similar), but it’s 95% similar to Playboy New York. Cheers!
