Excite by AXE

Bought it because it reminded me of the Valentino deodorant; the scent similarity was surprising, though the trail and longevity aren’t the same. It’s a ‘bomb’ for anyone who doesn’t know much about perfumes. I’d recommend it 100% for the price (I paid 62MXN) and because it’s ideal for keeping in your backpack or car for convenience.

The sweetest Axe out there.

I really liked this deodorant; the longevity was amazing and the notes weren’t cloying, I’d use it again.

I never thought I’d see a deodorant like this, but now that I’m commenting, I feel it’s a gem, especially after a workout, which is when I use it. In my case, it fits like a glove for those situations, at night and on cool-to-cold days.

Axe Excite is a coconut perfume with gourmand nuances like marshmallow. Maybe the can suggests it as a placebo, but I like it this way: caramelized, tropical, and very milky, though not overwhelmingly sweet. I don’t see it for fall or winter. In moderate heat (around 75°F), it works great, and I imagine it’s good for daily wear or the beach if it’s not too hot. Warm autumn and spring are its best seasons. Good fragrance; among the Axe line, it’s one of the ones I’d recommend most for daytime or casual outings, though I prefer others. Blessings.

It’s incredible that this deodorant has such brutal trail and longevity… It smells sweet, sweet, and sweeter, excellent for cold weather. It can get cloying if you don’t use it carefully, but incredible for the price. What I feel most is the caramel and nut.

I’m going to rate the aftershave version, which is what I use and smells practically the same as the EDT, just without the spray. This fragrance is a marvel; that blend of coconut and hazelnut is spectacular. I consider it more unisex, very youthful, and versatile: it works for both cold and warm climates, but I’d say it’s more for night than day. Wonderful, I used it a lot when I was a teenager. Unfortunately, like all Axe products, the longevity is decent, but the trail is very poor: by the hour, it’s skin-scent only, and I think only someone hugging you could smell it.

I didn’t notice the promised coconut; it smells like a weird cocktail of extreme sweetness, with something like tonka bean or caramel. It’s linear: if you like things super sweet, it works, it reminded me of Rochas Man right after applying. But it’s not my style; it overwhelms me for the first 30 minutes and then fades almost completely. Cheers.

The coconut and caramel opening smells great, but it’s not potent; it’s sweet and draws attention for the first two hours until people ask what you’re wearing. Then it becomes simple, with a woody base and minimal sillage. It does its job: smells good in a casual way. Note: the coconut was noticeable only for the first three days. After that, the scent is sweet and caramelized without the coconut, which disappears. I had to rub my wrists to catch it, and even though it’s there, it has very little strength.

As NachoGlez says, even though it’s Axe, it smells incredible. It starts with hazelnut and caramel in the base, moderate-to-low projection, but the coconut and super subtle wood show up quickly, ideal for school. Compliment generator.
