Angel Extrait smells almost identical to the classic but denser, with that signature chocolatey patchouli. If you’re a collector or a fan, it’s worth it because while the scent is similar, it has distinct nuances, but the longevity and projection are disappointing. The fragrance is very rich and you can tell it’s an extrait, but it’s not more potent than the original. The trail is moderate—you smell it on yourself all the time, but you don’t leave a mark where you’ve been. The bottle is a work of art, which is why it’s worth owning, but the online prices for these 15ml bottles aren’t justified.
