I don’t know figs, hehe, but it’s a rich scent: sweet fruity opening, slightly sour but not tiring, less sweet than the previous one. On me, it reminds me a lot of Escada, especially Agua de Sol, but without being as sweet. In the end, the dry-down is the same DNA as the previous Croisière. Easy to use; since I already own the previous one, I won’t buy this, as I don’t see it as necessary.
It smells like sweetened figs; I loved this aroma. It has great sillage and lasts at least 5 to 6 hours on me. This fig note makes it different from other sweet perfumes; it smells like a fig tart, and honestly, that scent is addictive. It’s a limited edition, so if you don’t get it now, it won’t be sold again.
I tried it expecting to feel the fig nectar or the praline, but on my skin I didn’t perceive a strong magnolia mixed with very sweet candies, at least not until summer. I would have to give it a try in winter… It has intensity and longevity on its side.
My relationship with the Angel line has always been complicated, with its highs and lows. Outside of the original, which I fell in love with a decade ago but no longer have, I hadn’t connected with anything until this Croisière 2020. Compared to my Angel Sucree 2017, the way Mugler handles the mentholated patchouli note doesn’t fully convince me; in Croisière 2020 it’s present but much more subtle, so I like it better. Both Croisière versions stray from the Angel DNA—they are fruity, summery, and much more informal. The 2019 reminded me too much of a Yves Rocher mango I used in my youth: tropical and pleasant, but lacking the complexity I seek in Mugler, so I forgot about it. With the 2020, however, I perceive fig, fig leaves, and that 2019 mango in a more complex blend sweetened with praline. The mentholated patchouli is softened and barely noticeable at the end. It doesn’t lose its carefree or jovial nature; it’s perfect for a cruise or for feeling transported to those situations. Although it shines in spring and summer, its sweetness allows it to be worn in any season. Sillage is moderate and lasts 8-9 hours, which is great for such a fruity EDT. The multicolor bottle on a metallic base is pure fantasy for the vanity. This summer, I’ll definitely dress up with 100% satisfaction wearing an Angel at dusk. Scent 8/10, Longevity 8.5/10, Sillage 7/10, Value/Price 7/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 10/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.
Angel Croisière 2020 smells like jam of ripe figs with chunks of mango, a spoonful of creamy praline, and shredded coconut on top, all surrounded by magnolias. It’s sweet, lactonic, and gourmand due to the praline, while the mango adds a sparkling, tropical touch that prevents it from being cloying. The magnolias clean up and decorate without stealing the spotlight. In the base, the patchouli is very distant. That mango reminds me of its 2019 sibling. It’s a complex and pleasant aroma, though not for every palate. The name suggests summer, and indeed, that mango gives it a tropical vibe, but I would wear it only on cool summer nights and in spring due to its wide and powerful sillage. It’s usable in cold weather, but I prefer it in these seasons. It was a lucky blind buy and I loved it. Edit: it’s addictive, creamy, and lactonic; you can’t stop smelling it. Scent 8/10, Sillage 9/10, Longevity 8/10.
Angel Croisière 2020 smells like ripe fig jam with chunks of mango, a spoonful of creamy praline, and shredded coconut on top, all surrounded by magnolias. It’s sweet, lactonic, and gourmand thanks to the praline; the mango adds a sparkling, tropical touch that prevents it from being cloying. The magnolias are clean and elegant without stealing the show, and the patchouli is noticeable only from afar. That mango reminds me of the Croisière 2019. It’s complex and pleasant, but not for every nose. The name suggests a summer fragrance, and the mango gives it a tropical vibe, but I’d only wear it on cool summer nights and spring days due to its wide trail and weight. Delicious—this word defines Angel Eau Croisière, a fruity delight that makes me want to literally bite into it. On my skin, it smells like sweet mango juice with a hint of acidity, a note that stayed linear and potent for almost two hours. I wish I could describe how it transforms, but it doesn’t; I still enjoy the scent immensely and have received several compliments. I recommend trying it even if you don’t usually like these scents, because it might happen on your skin too: you could end up smelling like you’re wearing juice from several very ripe mangos. The sillage and longevity are moderate. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
I’m a lover of sweet perfumes, and I must say this one overwhelms even me. Don’t get me wrong, I like it. It’s a beautiful, unique, and different aroma, but it needs to be used with moderation in open or fresh spaces, as it can become overwhelming. It smells 100% like fig jam, very feminine, elegant, and with excellent performance.

Delicious! Angel Eau Croisière is a fruity delight that makes me want to bite into it. On me, it smells like sweet mango juice with a hint of acidity, featuring a potent, linear undeclared note that lasts almost two hours. It didn’t evolve as I expected, but I enjoy the scent and have received many compliments. I recommend it if you don’t get tired of that type of fragrance, because you might end up smelling like several very ripe mangos. Sillage and longevity are a bit more than moderate.
Even though it’s not listed, on my skin the coconut is what stands out the most; when I wear it, people tell me I smell like a coconut candy.
Smells like summer, beach, and vacation: fresh, sweet, youthful, and fun. On my skin, it’s pure, undiluted coconut—the undeclared note that stands out the most. Lasts about 5 to 6 hours.
On me it’s fruity due to the fig; it doesn’t smell like coconut like others do—here, the fig with praline takes the lead. I sense an undeclared wood note that permeates everything, zero vanilla, and a soft patchouli, the classic Mugler vibe. Sillage and longevity are moderate.
I found it cheap in a Facebook group of perfume lovers in Mexico; they let me have it in two payments, and being a huge fan of the first Angel, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity since I already had the original and the Eau de Sucrée. At first, when I sprayed it in the air, it didn’t seem like much to me; it smelled like a sugary fruit children’s shampoo and very woody, so I was a bit disappointed. But on my first summer outing with work friends, I received my first compliment, and months later another. Both girls said the same thing: “you smell sweet.” Then I understood that it is the ultimate gourmand, a scent of freshly baked fig tart with woods and patchouli. It doesn’t seem summery to me at all; it’s quite heavy for 40 degrees, though not suffocating. I recommend it for autumn. It’s not elegant, but neither is it ordinary; I suggest it for when you want to feel unique, ideal for first dates because it’s very memorable. Basically, it’s wood, fig, and patchouli, but I don’t recommend buying it blindly!
I found it at a good price in a Facebook perfume group in Mexico; they let me pay in two installments, and as a huge fan of the original Angel, I didn’t miss the chance; I already owned the Angel formula and Eau de Sucrée. It doesn’t feel summery at all; it’s too heavy for 40-degree weather, though not suffocating. I recommend it for autumn. It’s not elegant, but not ordinary either; I suggest wearing it whenever you want to feel unique, ideal for first dates because it’s memorable. Basically, it’s wood, fig, and patchouli. Not recommended as a blind buy!
I bought it six months ago, right at the start of spring. At first, with my inexperienced nose, I only noticed a creamy, acidic coconut, very summery; now I clearly catch the fig, which opens green and then becomes creamy, milky, and sweet due to the praline and vanilla. It’s very pleasant despite being fruity, and yes, I think it has a touch of coconut milk. The patchouli is also noticeable, but it enhances the fig. It’s a bit like the Eau Croisière 2019, but it’s not redundant to have two: the 2019 is more tropical and juicy, while the 2020 is more milky and versatile, ideal for an autumn day and remembering those relaxed moments at the beach.
Today, with 32 degrees in the city, it was the perfect moment to try it. My nose detects mango, but someone else thought it smelled like coconut. It suits me perfectly and makes me feel super good. I think it’s versatile for all year round, although it stands out more in warm climates.
I bought two bottles blindly for the fig note and was disappointed. It smells nice but is like a graceless coconut body mist. Longevity on skin is good, but the sillage is soft, and for the price, it’s not worth it.
I couldn’t get past this scent; based on the notes, I thought I’d like it, but it smells entirely of coconut, even though it’s not a declared note. It’s an extremely cloying coconut scent and very unpleasant to my taste; I don’t perceive any other notes. It started giving me a headache after five minutes, so I just gave it to my mom.
It didn’t work for me; I thought I’d be hooked by the notes, but it smells like pure coconut, a cloying and ugly coconut candy that doesn’t let anything else come through. It gave me a headache after five minutes, so I gave it to my mom.
Reading the reviews, it’s striking that some people perceive coconut and pineapple. For me, it gives a potent fig scent, or rather, the whole fig tree… I perceive the entire tree, with very aromatic green leaves, sweet ripe fruits, and that sharp point of the milky part (which is especially prickly at first until it settles). There’s also some wood and that characteristic patchouli of Mugler’s Angels. I consider it not an easy perfume. It’s beautiful and original but not for everyone. To those who say they smell coconut and pineapple… I get the feeling they are confusing it with Angel Iced Star, which does have those notes and whose bottle looks very similar to this Eau Croisière 2020… And finally, although it’s an EDT and a summer scent, it has nothing of summer about it. It has a powerful fragrance that becomes quite overwhelming in summer heat. I use it more in autumn.
Reading the reviews, I’m surprised some people detect coconut and pineapple. I smell an intense whole fig tree: aromatic green leaves, sweet ripe fruit, and that slightly spicy milky part that stings at first before calming down. There’s also a woody touch and that characteristic patchouli from Mugler’s Angel line. I consider this not easy to wear. It’s pretty and original, but not for everyone. Those who notice coconut and pineapple seem to be confusing it with Angel Iced Star, which actually has those notes and a similar bottle. Also, even though it’s an EDT and a summer fragrance, it has nothing of summer about it. It’s potent and overwhelming in summer heat. I wear it more in autumn.
Angel Eau Croisière is sweet, fresh, and woody; fig and patchouli stand out a lot, while vanilla is barely noticeable. At first, I didn’t like it much, but with use, I got hooked. It has the Angel DNA, with fig as the protagonist. It lasts 12 hours and has good sillage. I see it as very versatile, ideal for all year round. It’s not for everyone; it’s very strong, very patchouli-heavy, very woody—it has PERSONALITY. You have to know how to wear it 🎈I don’t recommend buying blindly 🎈if you like strong fragrances with lots of patchouli, I recommend it 👌🏼. Do I like it? Yes, but it doesn’t drive me crazy enough to buy it right now; Angel Nova is more my style. Scent 10/10 Longevity 10/10 Sillage 10/10 Packaging 10/10 Versatility 10/10 Value/Quality 10/10 Would I buy it? NO
Fig tree. That’s one of my favorite trees, not just for the fruit (which is a flower, did you know?) but for its look, resilience, and scent. Rough leaves, thin dark but strong branches, powerful roots breaking the pavement like a rebellion. How noble is the fig tree. With that image, I visualize my grandfather’s, almost a century old, small but full of figs and ants haha. I spent my childhood underneath it, coloring, singing, or pulling leaves to feel its strong, hypnotic essence. That leafy scent mixed perfectly with the sweet brevas of March; that’s what the beginning of this precious Angel smells like, a March fig tree in a Tucumán summer. Angel Eau Croisière, which is still just Angel, starts with fig and sweet, wild figs with its very Mugler patchouli. It doesn’t lose its identity, then sweetens more with praline and vanilla. I see it as slightly unisex. What a beauty, sadly discontinued; I only have a 5ml decant because a 50ml bottle costs over 300,000 pesos, making it almost impossible for me. A fruity delight with character, the Angel I choose but won’t be able to own.
Angel Eau Croisière is a luxury flanker from Angel, a well-sweetened and fruity version starting with fig. Despite the reinterpretation, it keeps the line’s DNA with a very present patchouli, creating a magnificent masterpiece that is my favorite from the house, just behind the original from 1992. Performance, presentation, and quality are always excellent. Although it can be hard to find in some places, it’s worth the hunt because it deserves it. I recommend it without hesitation; it’s an olfactory delight that pleases with every use.
Lots of fig, and it’s delicious.
