Gucci 1921 is citrusy, aromatic, and floral. Upon opening, it smells of citrus and herbs; although the bottle says ‘citrus’, I detect more bergamot with lemon and neroli. At first, it reminds me of Acqua di Bergamotto or Italian Bergamot by Zegna. As it dries down, it stays herbal and gains a musky, slightly woody touch without much else changing. It’s great for daytime use due to its freshness, perfect for work or casual moments. I liked the scent, but it’s pricey, doesn’t last long (6-7 hours), projects well only for the first 20 minutes before settling close to the skin. There are cheaper options with the same freshness.
