I love it! It’s sensual and perfect for going out to conquer. A few sprays smell amazing in a job interview. To me, it’s the eighth wonder—I absolutely adore it and already have a refill. Lasts 12+ hours on clothes with an incredible sillage. Highly recommended. ❣️❣️❣️❣️

Despite the name, Ambre Nuit is a tribute to rose, not amber. It opens with balanced bergamot—neither fresh nor green, but dense and enveloping. Then the bergamot fades, giving way to a mature, open, natural rose with dark, velvety petals. Slowly, it yields to amber, becoming warm, resinous, and elegant, melting deliciously into the skin. I love this Dior line; I bought it on a whim and have no regrets. It evolves through three distinct, non-fatiguing phases with notable longevity lasting over 10 hours. It makes me feel seductive and confident, perfect for nights destined to end with rumpled sheets. It’s a perfume for going to bed in a carnal sense—absolutely essential. I find it unisex and perfect for cold weather. I’m not usually a rose fan, but this made me want to explore the note, which I previously thought was too mature for me, and it has truly silenced my critics.

I want a McFlurry right now; McDonald’s is 20 minutes away. Although I have Ambre Nuit to smell later, I couldn’t agree more with Calvofe: amber is the king of dates. Sweet yet masculine, like Gran Soir or Ambre Sultan. It empowers me. This Dior is the only famous amber I’m missing.

But on the way home, smelling Ambre Nuit, my spirits lifted so much I stopped at a McDonald’s for a McFlurry. Once home, I put on some Zidane, got into bed, and felt ready. For anyone with dates: I highly recommend this scent. It’s a sweet amber with velvety rose and depth-providing patchouli. If you wear it and she arrives, you’ve already won—it smells incredible and makes approaching so much easier.

Exquisite, elegant, and refined. It’s dark, and I have to press my nose against my hands to smell it; the sillage is quite limited. On my skin, it lasts 2h30 and then it’s gone—a pity. The price is steep for what it offers. If the sillage and longevity were better, it would be my favorite Dior.

It opens with fresh bergamot that tames the rose and amber, making it more refreshing. Then it settles into rose and grey amber: powdery, semi-sweet, and vaporous, creating a mystical aura. It’s a beautiful velvety rose. Lasts 7-8 hours with moderate projection. It’s unisex but leans feminine. It’s lovely and high quality, but it’s not worth 300€ just for being a pretty rose. Try it before buying.

Although I’m not an amber lover, this perfume makes it shine as a superior unisex compared to Feve Delicieuse. Don’t expect liquid gold in Dior’s Privée collection; they are excellent pieces but come with high price tags.
