Back to Banana Republic with Republic of Men. I picked this up at a Guillermo Hudson store in southern GBA at a great price for 30ml. When I checked the batch, it was 11 years and 8 months old. Surprisingly, it didn’t smell sour or degraded, so I wore it for several days. The opening is bright citrus with a fig note, followed by an hour later by a spicy rosemary scent. For me, it’s a soft spice blend—I don’t detect sage—and after two hours, a slightly sticky musk starts clinging to the skin. The longevity isn’t great; in fact, it’s the opposite. The impact is strong for the first hour but fades over time, with a maximum of about four hours. It’s pleasant, perfect for spring and casual wear. Overall, a citrusy fragrance with a light spicy touch, ideal for a casual morning or afternoon outing.
