Banana Republic was born in 1978 in Mill Valley, California, as a brand of clothing and travel accessories. Today it is part of Gap Inc. and is a global lifestyle brand with more than 400 own and franchised stores. Its current offer includes clothing, accessories and home-related products.
The perfumery was expanded in 2017 with the Icon Collection, made up of five unisex fragrances inspired by moments in Banana Republic's history. The line was sold in individual bottles and in a Discovery Set. The brand has also offered fragrances alongside its fashion and accessories collections.
