Green and woody cedar notes with fig, though not too defined, with a synthetic yet exquisite touch wrapped in vetiver and flowers. Not complex, very well made, and with great longevity (9 hours for me). Perfect for a half-day at work; feels amazing.
I love it. I can’t say anything bad about this perfume, and at this price, it’s a must-have acquisition for lovers of the genre. 9/10.
It’s the third in Banana Republic’s Icon collection and pleasantly surprised me. It opens soft but firm with citrus and green leaves, then moves into jasmine and tea, creating a fresh, citrusy, and herbal vibe. The projection isn’t powerful but lasts almost 8 hours without being invasive. Ideal for spring and summer (without too much heat), not for night due to its softness. Vetiver base. Unisex from head to toe, perfect for casual outings and the office. The packaging protects well, and being affordable in Argentina, it’s very practical.
This is the third fragrance I’m reviewing from the Banana Republic Icon collection, and I must say it pleasantly surprised me. Its soft but firm opening of citrus and green leaves gives way to jasmine and tea; when combined, they create a fresh, citrusy, and herbal touch at once. The projection isn’t very powerful but it’s long-lasting, almost eight hours, and it’s not invasive. Ideal for spring and summer days (not too hot); I wouldn’t recommend it for night because it’s so subtle. In the dry-down, I notice that vetiver touch but nothing else. Unisex from head to toe, perfect for casual outings and the office. Its packaging protects the perfume very well, and being affordable in my country (Argentina), it remains very useful.
The entire Banana Republic line has a characteristic aroma of good quality. I’ve bought them at Ross and TJ Maxx for $20-30, not bad at all, but don’t buy them at the official store because the cost is higher.

Very tasty; I love green perfumes, and it has a great price. The only thing to criticize is its short longevity.
Very rich, I love green perfumes, and it has a good price. The only thing to criticize is its short longevity.
After the Banana Republic hype, I picked up this 78ml bottle of Vintage Green. It comes well-packaged, with a side box and a thick glass bottle featuring a minimalist label and a nice cap. It smells very spring-like, with a vibrant opening and quality where the citrus shines with personality. After the short initial burst, the heart reveals its EDT soul: like a sophisticated lemon Nestea with a floral touch. The mentioned fig note doesn’t shine (NOTE: it’s part of the fig tree and skin, not the fruit), but the JASMINE TEA stands out; lots of jasmine tea. Don’t look for a separate tea scent; if you’ve tried jasmine tea, you’ll recognize it clearly. Delicate floral scent with fresh green notes from green tea and vetiver (a touch of green wood sticks) with more prominence than I expected. It finishes with a pleasant musky hint. I see it as unisex, but if you’re a man, the jasmine might appeal to you or turn you off. For women, the vetiver is marked; if you like it, you’ll enjoy it a lot. The performance is more like a cologne than a perfume. When you wear it, you feel clean and fresh, very pleasant. It’s the typical perfume where if you shower at 8 PM, two sprays last you until bedtime without bothering anyone. Harmless, suitable for all ages, perfect for gifting to your daughter in puberty or your father in summer. That’s just how it is. Better than most designer scents, good quality-to-price ratio. It hasn’t blown my mind, but I admit it’s good. Edit: After months of use, I confirm my opinion and would say it has niche quality despite its innocence.

I bought about six decants from the collection to try them, and I admit several smell good. This Vintage Green is quite green and fresh; what I don’t like is that they claim it’s an EDP, but its performance is even worse than an EDT.
Ideal for spring; honestly, one of the best in terms of quality-to-price ratio. I love using it, it puts me in a good mood, and I’ve gotten great compliments. It works wonderfully on my skin in every way.

At first, it was hard to get because everyone said it was a great perfume, and they weren’t wrong: I love it. It smells like a spa; I use it daily because it puts me in a good mood, and I think it’s what I’ve worn most lately. I like it so much that I already have a backup bottle. It’s an excellent perfume for a laughable price. 100% recommended.
I kept it saved for semi-hot days, wore it today, and four people said it smelled amazing: fruity, citrusy, woody… Longevity is around 4-5 hours with good projection and a half-hour trail. Excellent for this low price.
Very similar to Torino 21 (I haven’t tried Nishane Wulong Cha); it lives in the same neighborhood but with distinct nuances. The Xerjoff version is brighter, less linear, lasts longer than the Banana, and has better projection. Vintage Green is a great option, even if it’s subtle; it smells like summer without being intrusive or annoying, and the price is unbeatable. While it needs replication, it’s a must-have. The fig and green tea notes are very soft, especially the fig; floral, herbal, vetiver, and an undisclosed mint dominate. There are other fragrances in this line with better performance, so I recommend trying them all. Cheers.
