  From the 2022 Collezione Riservata line: it’s an Aventus without pineapple, almost no citrus, but with a mango that leaves a soft, pleasant sweetness as it dries, plus a leather and oud base that adds body and masculinity without sacrificing freshness. Since I haven’t tried the Zara Vibrant Leather or other dupes for an objective comparison, I’m not sure if it’s one of the best, but this Midnight Hour EDP (same as the Icon Collection) projects a lot and has great sillage, which is a plus. Maybe for a full hour it releases a rich, cheerful, and optimistic scent, ideal for mild or cloudy days or warm summer nights. As it dries, it becomes sexier thanks to that leather and oud. Even though it’s an EDP, as is common with Banana’s collections, the performance on my skin is more like a standard EDT (I think the brand prioritizes scent over longevity, and you can forgive them for that). Recommended? Yes, give it a try. In the store, I thought it was “another disappointing Aventus,” but smelling it on the blotter convinced me, and I bought it; the sales staff were thrilled with its performance. Without diminishing the hype around Club de Nuit Intense, this could be a great inspiration for a Creed Aventus in your collection. I suppose there might be other better oriental scents or dupes, but I’m happy with this Banana. High-quality presentation, 75ml bottles for under $30, made in the USA. Banana Republic continues to do a great job with quality and accessible prices. I’ve already tried Dark Cherry and have Black Platinum in my collection, both are excellent; the soft Vintage Green is a real treat.

Since I haven’t tried the Zara Vibrant Leather dupe, I can’t compare it objectively, but this Midnight Hour EDP (same as the Icon Collection) projects a lot and has great sillage, which is a plus.
