9PM Elixir by Afnan

It’s a warm, spicy scent that reminds me of Armani Code Profumo. For the price, it lasts quite well, though it doesn’t project much. I bought it as a steal since I’m not a huge fan of Arabic perfumes, but it served its purpose as a strong, noticeable fragrance without breaking the bank. I use it to reapply several times a day.

At first, it seemed weird to me, but over time I’ve grown to love it. Now I see it as clean, sweet, spicy, and fun. It’s very addictive, projects well, and lasts a long time. I’d give it a 9/10.

I’ve been wearing it for two weeks and yes, I’ve received compliments, but only when someone is close by. It smells great, although the projection is strong only for the first two hours; afterward, it becomes a scent that doesn’t project much. It’s a great option because, in my opinion, it smells better than the regular 9PM, even though the regular one projects more. If you love vanilla perfumes, this is definitely for you.

It’s very good if you have a few perfumes, but for collectors, it’s just one more. It smells like a hybrid between Lattafa Kamrah and the 9 PM.

I tried it last Saturday, and it’s very elegant, perfect for night outings. It’s not suitable for the gym or hot days.

Wow wow, spectacular. In short, I was fascinated by this Afnan fragrance. Very rich and long-lasting, an absolute 10/10.

I bought it recently and it’s a 10/10; it has everything: rich aroma, projection, and sillage. It’s sweet but with a spicy, peppery, and resinous twist. It’s an Arabic gem situated between Le Male Elixir Absolu and Khamrah Dukhan; the latter is very personal to me, reminding me of 1 Million Elixir but with different vibes. It lasts a solid 9 hours, holding up like a champ if you wear it in the afternoon and still smells the next day. Projection 9/10: noticeable at 2 meters for the first 3 hours, so don’t abuse the sprays because it’s a loud perfume that commands presence. Sillage 9/10: heavy until the second hour, then moderate, and afterwards softer; not enormous but noticeable a lot, even in large rooms. Aroma 20/10: it’s crazy, very rich, natural, with well-crafted notes, nothing synthetic. Originality 6/10: it has its own path though it draws inspiration from Dukhan and Le Male (not clones, but the resemblance is evident). Versatility 6/10: it’s sweet but not cloying, ideal for fall, winter, and early spring. In summer only at night and with few sprays; perfect for parties, dates, or hanging out with friends (if it’s not too hot). Not for the gym and can be invasive at work, though with few sprays it’s fine. I see it as versatile for ages 20 and up.

In my humble opinion, there are beast modes that are more beast-like, but this one definitely stands out and is very noticeable. In a large room, you’ll definitely feel it, and they’ll want to. Aroma: 20/10. The scent is crazy, too rich, feels very natural, with well-blended notes and doesn’t smell synthetic at all. It’s very well crafted. Originality: 6/10. While it has its own path, it draws inspiration from fragrances like Dukhan and Le Male Elixir Absolu (not clones, but the resemblance is extremely noticeable) and does it very well. Versatility: 6/10. Keep in mind it’s sweet, not cloying, so I recommend it for autumn, winter, and early spring. If you use it in summer, do it at night with few sprays. I see it as a party perfume due to its potency, but also for dates or going out with friends (if it’s not too hot). At the gym, never. At work, it can be invasive; there are better perfumes for that, but with a few sprays, I don’t see why not. If we go by age, I see it as versatile from 20 years old and up; you can wear it without any problem.

My city is usually hot, but these dates are giving us slightly cooler days. On Monday I decided to try it for the first time; I bought it a month ago. I wore it to a work meeting and my female colleagues showered me with compliments. So, if you’re looking for compliments, don’t think twice; you’re safe with this perfume. Plus, it offers good projection and longevity.

I already had the chance to try it and spray it on my skin, and I have to say it smells very delicious. The vanilla isn’t complex at all, but it’s very rich, and with that pepper accompaniment, it makes it delightful. With just one spray on my skin, I had it on my skin for 10 hours. I can’t talk about projection because I didn’t use much, but when I do, I’ll update this.

I received 9 PM Elixir yesterday. Initial note: don’t over-spray. On the skin and in the sillage, it smells like Khamrah Dukan mixed with Le Male Elixir Absolu. Huge trail, massive projection. Ideal use for nights out and cold weather; it has nothing to offer in spring or summer. Absolute beast, honestly.

Spicy, sensual, sweet, elegant, and a bit mysterious… those are the words that come to my mind with these first impressions after buying it blind. My nose reminds me a bit of 1 Million Elixir, with a little of the fragrances already mentioned in the ‘reminds me of’ section, and at the same time, a bit of its own charm. As for sillage, it seems good since it feels very potent; and it definitely projects very well. I think I’ve had this perfume for just a little over an hour and I already feel happier with this purchase than with others of much more expensive perfumes, which after an hour shine by their absence. This is one of the ‘good, beautiful, and cheap’ ones.

I’m back to comment after wearing it for a bit. To those saying it doesn’t smell like JPG Absolu, better check yourself, because it’s identical. It’s a JPG Absolu with a touch of Dukan. Longevity is extreme, watch out: it causes olfactory fatigue because it’s so potent, keep that in mind.

I have it and I love it. Top-tier aromatic quality for 9 PM; it comes out like JPG Absolu mixed with Khamrah Dunkhan, which is rare. I bought it brand new (made in July), had it in August, let it oxidize and massage it for a couple of weeks, and it improved from day to night in strength and projection. It’s rich, but not as hyped up as people make it out to be. You can detect the leather in the dry-down; in my opinion, it’s more mature, spicy, and leathery—maybe that’s why it doesn’t attract younger crowds.
