Green and crisp fragrance, typical of the Gres house quality. Although the brand focused on feminine scents, their few masculine ventures are worth it. Maybe it’s not the most original, but its naturalness and blend make it deserving of a spot. The opening is super fresh, green but without sharp citrus notes, instead featuring basil and petit grain. It leaves a final leather finish with sweet touches of sandalwood and amber. Very wearable, neither outdated nor chasing trends, it evokes that old-school perfumery with recognizable, quality ingredients. A pleasure to discover fragrances that never got the success they deserved.
Green and crisp fragrance, top quality like at the Gres house. Although they focused on women, what they did for men is worth it. Maybe it’s not the most original, but it smells so natural and well-blended that it’s worth it. The opening is super fresh, green from basil and petit grain, not from sour citrus. It leaves a trail of leather with sweet touches of sandalwood and amber. Very wearable, doesn’t seem outdated or follow current trends. Smells like perfumery from before, with recognizable and quality ingredients. A pleasure to discover gems that never had the success they deserved.
The greenest fragrance I have, smells like freshly cut grass and pure chlorophyll. You feel the oakmoss and that basil, quite a bit of petit grain. It’s rough and masculine but not for everyone, only for mature noses; on a young person it causes discomfort.
The greenest scent I own, smells like freshly cut grass, pure chlorophyll. You can detect the oakmoss and that basil, quite a bit of petit grain. It’s rough and masculine, but not for everyone; only for mature noses, because on a young person it can cause discomfort.
