This fragrance was a landmark in the 70s; everyone wanted a bottle. It became a classic of its time and sold like hotcakes, thanks to the brand that still distributes it.
The scent is delicious; it leaves me feeling fresh, clean, and sophisticated—like just out of the shower. Super clean and sensual.
Brutal fragrance. When I ran out of it, I couldn’t find anything comparable for years. I’ve been searching for it for ages. If anyone recognizes it or knows of something with those herbal notes, please let me know; I’d really appreciate the info.

Drakkar is the uncle from the 70s who arrived five years before Tony Manero taught us to dance; it’s a scent you can’t explain with notes, only with feelings. It was groundbreaking for its time: classic yet virile, perfect for a sharp, serious guy in an impeccable blazer. Olfactorily, it’s a perfect balance of spices (coriander takes the lead), herbs (basil and rosemary), and a sweet-mossy base that emerges at the end without being typical. The opening is a bergamot-lavender-coriander trio that quickly transitions into a jasmine floral phase. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not heavy; it’s light, airy, and has a warm, refined base that begs to be worn repeatedly until it merges with your skin. That moss base is amazing—nobody does it like this anymore. It’s a charming fragrance that leaves you feeling comfortable and transports you to an incredible past.
