  • After almost a year of daily office wear, there’s still some liquid left. It’s the only perfume where multiple people, men and women, have told me I smell good. It probably projects more with heat, but personally I think it can be worn year-round. It doesn’t smell from afar like others; you have to be close to notice the aroma, but the longevity lasts all day with just a few sprays. When it runs out, I’ll almost certainly buy it again. Now I can find it in regular stores like Drugstore, not just on Amazon. Highly recommended.

Rich and trendy aroma. Very similar to YSL Y EDP and Y EDP Intense. Reminds me of Invictus, Versace Eros, Ralph’s Club, and other youthful fragrances. Smells like caramelized apple with very rich lavender. The downside is that you almost don’t smell it yourself, but others definitely do. For the price, it’s a great perfume and the bottle is gorgeous; many designers would kill for a design like this. I give it an 8/10 for scent, though its projection is a bit low.

  • Marcelodisquito

Very disappointed, but I think it’s just my perception because I don’t like Invictus and its derivatives. They simply aren’t for me. This smells like Invictus to my nose and that’s it. If you like this type of fragrance, it’s definitely a buy for you.

  • The scent of this fragrance is ideal for hot climates, as the opening is fresh and striking. In the heart, juniper and herbs stand out. Longevity isn’t the best; for an Arabic perfume, you’d expect more. On skin, it lasts 2-3 hours and on clothes 5-6. I’m in a tropical climate, so it stands out in the heat, but don’t use it in cold weather or at night. The scent is pleasant, fresh, and herbal, though the notes aren’t very defined; I mainly perceive the juniper and the aromatic part of the herbs. I consider it ideal for daily use in hot tropical climates.

  • Preponcios

Low longevity; honestly, the aroma imitates YSL Y EDP very well, but the lasting power is disappointing.

  • The perfume smells good, fresh, and clean, and lasts a long time on clothes, but on skin it fades between 4 and 6 hours. It’s not a bad fragrance; I use it daily. It’s not an exact dupe of YSL Y EDP. 8.5/10.

  • After months of use: They sell it as a dupe for YSL Y EDP, but it’s not a direct one. At first, it’s similar, but then it evolves into something different. It’s like a more oriental and spiced Y EDP. It’s not a bad fragrance, but if you’re looking for a faithful dupe, you’ll be slightly disappointed. Longevity varies; sometimes it lasts, other times it doesn’t. Worth it for the price, but if you want something truer to the original, go for Maison Alhambra’s Yeah! Man, Armaf Odyssey Mega, or the original YSL Y EDP.

  • Very good; I get tons of compliments. Longevity is average, maybe even a bit low, but you can’t ask for more at this price. It smells amazing and works for any occasion. Buy blind without fear.

  • The scent is 90% identical to YSL Y EDP, but the longevity is a disaster—it doesn’t even last two hours.

  • To be honest, it’s quite similar to YSL Y EDP, but the original has its charm and this smells simpler by comparison. On skin, it doesn’t last long nor project much, though it’s a rich and pleasant scent. It’s a good dupe, but if I had to choose between Fakhar and Y, I’d pick Y.

  • I’m going against everything said: it’s not that versatile nor does it resemble YSL EDP. It’s a weird scent, not bad, in fact the apple is good, but in heat almost everything fades and leaves a heavy scent that also doesn’t project. I sold it because I couldn’t get used to it; maybe it performs better in temperate climates.

  • Very well executed clone. But for some reason, I don’t use it much. Even though I like it, it just doesn’t fully convince me.

Excellent fragrance for those seeking a fruity and woody profile like YSL Y EDP Intense, but less sweet and drier. It opens fresh and energetic. The green apple is acidic and fresh, combined with lavender and geranium, creating a herbal and clean character. It has no sweetness from start to finish, focusing on modern cleanliness. It has subtle ginger and woods to add body and durability. It ends with a herbal, clean, and woody base. It’s purely masculine, projecting maturity and competence. Ideal for the office and daily use. Its light structure makes it versatile, especially in warm weather. It’s not complex, but very effective. I rate it 7/10 for daily performance and value.

  • The opening is a bit rough, but then it turns into something sweet and pleasant. The longevity is short and the scent isn’t very intense; you have to spray it a lot to make it last. It’s rich, but it lacks punch.

  • Modern power with a mysterious touch. It’s intense and seductive, blending sweetness, wood, and spices. From the start, it’s strong, featuring amber, leather, and a sweet vanilla and dark fruit dry down. It has an enveloping presence, ideal for nights or special events. Deep trail and long-lasting, leaving a warm and sophisticated impression. Combines Arab luxury with contemporary style: dark, magnetic, and full of character.

  • Clean, elegant, and very versatile. It has little evolution, but that doesn’t take away from its appeal: it maintains a pleasant and consistent scent. It’s easy to like and not intrusive, perfect for daily wear and the office. I don’t really detect the listed notes, but what I perceive is: a sweet, fresh, sparkling opening; then something floral and clean where lavender stands out; and finally a subtle woody finish. It’s not complex or loud, but elegant and comfortable. Lasts about 7-8 hours with good initial projection. Recommended year-round. In short: it conveys cleanliness, freshness, and confidence. Rating: 7.5/10.

Bought it as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. At first, it smells like a man fresh out of the shower—citrusy and fresh—but then it turns sweet, perfect for everyday wear. The green apple note dominates. It’s rich, masculine, and for the price with this packaging, it’s an ideal gift. Lasts about 5-6 hours with moderate projection. I loved it and recommend it for daily use.

  • Super fresh at first and pleasant throughout. The base with vetiver is dry and very characteristic. It’s a good option for the price, but keep in mind it’s a bit weak; if you want some punch, you need to apply quite a bit.

  • JavierPerfumista

My first blind buy and I won big. I spotted it for 15-20€ on Amazon and it was worth the risk. Fakhar Black is inspired by YSL Y, and while clones usually lack potency, for this price it’s more than decent. It opens strong with fruits, especially apple, then cedar kicks in. It smells like a 15-year-old kid who wants to party till late but can’t afford the real deal. If you’re young, buy it—you’ll smell like a star.

  • It was a birthday gift and I loved it. They say it’s inspired by Y EDP, but they don’t resemble each other much (I’ve tried both); it reminds me more of Paco Rabanne Invictus but with that great apple opening and it lasts until it fades after about 9-10 hours, since perfumes last me a long time on the skin. I applied this at 7 AM and 8 hours later my mom told me it smelled incredible, plus two other people told me how good it smelled that same day, and I don’t usually get compliments. Projection is moderate-to-high; I don’t know why people say it “behaves badly”; for €25 you can’t ask for more, especially for a versatile fragrance.

  • I tested the original fragrance it’s said to resemble (Y EDP) and I liked this one more. I don’t have a nose to identify notes or review like an expert; I just say I bought it blind and it was love at first sniff. I use it at night to go out, with temperatures not dropping below 15 degrees because the cold eats it up. It lasts about 4 or 5 hours and projects little, which is true, but since I like it so much, I’ll buy it again when it runs out.

  • Jaime Ramírez

Delicious fresh, sweet, and fruity aroma. Reminds me of Invictus at the start. For the price, it’s excellent and doesn’t smell cheap. It doesn’t project much; it’s more of a close-to-the-skin scent, but for me, it easily lasts 10 hours on the skin. 9/10 🔥.

  • Very good aroma, super versatile for day and night, easy to use, and not tiring. It was the first bottle I finished. Aside from that, projection is moderate, and in my experience, longevity didn’t exceed 3 hours, plus the atomizer is below average. However, for the price, I would buy it again.

  • It’s a dupe of Y, yes, it does look alike. There are two key things to evaluate. Starting with the positives: I think it outweighs the negatives. The perfume is very rich. Buy it blind; it smells clean, fruity, and soapy. The price is great and it’s usable almost anytime, including formal occasions, except for dates and parties. The downside is longevity: it’s weak. My score is 7/10 due to longevity; if it were anything else, it would be 8.5/9.

  • When I first got into perfumes, I tried Y EDP and it was my favorite. Later, I tested Fakhar Black at an Arab store and liked it, but I went with something else instead. This happened a few times: it was rich but felt weak compared to others due to poor longevity. Then came Christmas; I added it to my Secret Santa list because of the price range, since its best feature is the cost ($20). Now I have it and am testing it. It’s similar to Y EDP, but the difference lies in impact and duration. It’s rich, but you need to reapply a couple of times a day. That’s actually good because it doesn’t soak into clothes as much, making it ideal for reusing the same day. You can tell it’s versatile for day and night, all year round (maybe not winter). Adding it up, I give it a solid 8/10, but when I earn more money, I’ll switch to the real Y EDP, which is superior.

  • It’s not as similar to YSL Y as many say, though it’s a pleasant, clean, citrusy scent with a hint of herbal lavender that you can detect. It’s gotten compliments during my daily routine. It doesn’t last long; it’s average, maybe 4-5 hours at most, but for the price, it delivers and smells good. It’s also not a high-risk scent, so it’s not a bad option. I wouldn’t buy it again; if you want a YSL Y dupe, Odyssey Mega is better. 7/10.

  • Rich fragrance, but somewhat synthetic; I haven’t smelled YSL Y so I don’t know if that one is too. I bought it blind and it didn’t disappoint; with this scent, you won’t look bad. It doesn’t project beyond two hours, but for the price, you can reapply. I’d say it’s a blind buy for the price; I’ll go smell the Y and come back to see what I think.

  • It smells good, but I find it very strong and it doesn’t resemble Y EDP xddd. Don’t believe everything they tell you.

  • I don’t understand the reference to Y by YSL. It’s a scent very similar to Paco Rabanne’s Invictus. Fresh, versatile, ideal for summer and spring, for everyday use, and masculine.

  • It’s a clone of YSL Y EDP that smells identical to me once it dries down. I absolutely love the scent, and while it takes its own path, it’s fantastic. Just a heads-up: newer batches last only 4 hours; I hope they fix that. Highly recommended for its versatility—it looks great anywhere!

  • Choklito-EDP

It’s 80% similar to YSL’s Y EDP. It’s an aromatic and fresh fragrance with that excellent woody dry-down; if you’re looking for something for daily office or university use, this perfume is ideal for those contexts. Many mention issues with performance, especially longevity; at first, I had the same problem, but over time, the performance has improved too much for a workday; I’ve had great performance throughout the day: +8 hours on skin and +12 on clothes. It’s not a perfume with great sillage, making it ideal for offices or university; that doesn’t mean others don’t notice it; in my case, it has been a perfume that generated several compliments.

  • It’s a very rich, easy-to-wear, and easy-to-please scent. It’s not the most unique, but it performs very well. I recommend it if you’re starting your collection and don’t want to spend a lot on a perfume you can use at any time, hour, or occasion. It works great in any weather; you’re safe with this without overcomplicating things. Without adding much more that hasn’t been said about this acceptable perfume; I conclude by saying that, regarding compliments, this scent is pleasant and can generate them if you know how to use it and the number of sprays you apply.

  • Copy of Y EDP, similar, but the difference in scent quality and longevity is huge. Longevity: Y EDP gives about 7 hours, while Fakhar lasts 3-4 hours with moderate projection; it’s a perfume you’ll have to replicate if or when, but at the price I found it ($25), I don’t see a problem. Scent: Luckily I own Y EDP so I could compare them side by side. As soon as I spray Y, I’m reminded of Fakhar, though the scent quality makes a difference. In Fakhar, I feel a sharp apple and ginger, while Y is more balanced, even though it’s somewhat synthetic and sits below Y. I must say, the few people who smelled it loved it; it smells like apple, ginger, herbal, and a touch of sweetness; very easy to like.

  • Second bottle, this time a gift from my girlfriend; I’ve had it for a few years and mentioned this to her. I hadn’t smelled this scent in a while and honestly, I was surprised; I thought a new batch would be different, but it wasn’t (batch 5/25). It feels like a 4×4 powerhouse, a mix of YSL, regular Invictus, or Hawaii. Versatile, literally the most versatile; great for starting a collection or as a daily wear; it’s delicious. Talking about performance: on skin, I get about 5 hours (unsprayed); before that, unsprayed it gave me 6-7 hours with moderate projection. I apply 12 sprays for school or outings; if you want it to be felt, spray without fear because it’s not an expensive perfume, only $20. A perfume worthy of any collection.

  • Carlosclarett

For me, it was a disappointment. It’s a rich, fresh, and masculine perfume, but the longevity is very short and the sillage is practically non-existent. I’d give it daily use, but nothing more. Simply a perfume without much else.

  • santirevnashe

This is my current perfume. The opening is fresh and soapy, but the dry-down is a marvel. I’ve gotten tons of compliments and it’s ultra-versatile. Once I wore it out at night in winter and got more praise than with JPG Elixir (which I usually wear in the cold). My nose is getting tired of this scent and sometimes it seems like it’s not noticeable, but I’ve worn it for 10 hours and people told me it smelled like I just applied it. Maybe it’s not the most distinctive or a beast, but it always delivers; you could easily own just this one and be covered. It’s a scent everyone likes; it could be a blind buy. 9.7/10, I recommend it if you must have it for your collection.

  • Daniel Henderson 77

Clean and fresh fragrance, with a sharp opening that becomes much more pleasant as it dries. Quite similar, with some details in its evolution, to Y by YSL. On my skin, it lasts 8 hours well, maybe a bit longer. It activates with movement and releases bursts of this delicious scent. Without a doubt, a very good inspiration for Y. Highly recommended.

  • ikerperseo

I tested it at the office and the opening is a bit aggressive, but after 10 minutes it transforms completely and smells like Y by YSL. I love it; it’s super versatile. I notice it a lot for the first three hours, then it settles on the skin and lasts 8 hours without issues. Maybe not as much in open spaces, but I’ll have to try it there. Something weird happened: as it dried, I suddenly got a resinous and woody memory that made me automatically think of Azzaro TMW (which I also own). I checked the notes and they share Amberwood, so that’s when it all clicked. I’m not saying they’re similar; it’s just an anecdote. For the price, it’s worth buying blind—it’s very easy to like and masculine.

  • Honestly, I went by the reviews and didn’t like its aroma. It’s not bad, but it’s not to my taste. However, in a nostalgic way, it reminded me of a catalog fragrance called Dominic (from Avon, Yambal, etc.).
