  • Incredible similarity achieved with the Y EDP. It’s one of those men’s perfumes that has practically everything. It starts bright, fresh, and with a fruity acid where green apple puts its stamp. Quickly, sage gives a clean, almost soapy, pleasant, and neat tint. During its life, it becomes jovial and aromatic, turning more mature with woods and incense, while tonka bean rounds off the base. It sets the example of how to use sweet notes to nuance without dominating. My wife, who usually doesn’t comment, said she liked it every time I wore it in the first few weeks. Newly acquired, it suffers from lack of longevity, hopefully it’s the case of letting it oxidize.

  • I have the 2025 batch (Yeah! Man, reformulated version). Awesome perfume, impressive quality for the price. It’s a high-quality dupe, extremely similar to the Y EDP. The opening is a bit more synthetic than the original but keeps its citrus touch. Upon drying down, wow, identical to the Y EDP: exquisite, youthful, fresh, and elegant scent. Longevity is quite good, with 3 hours of projection and 9 hours of durability (on clothes it’s already 2 days). Should I recommend it? Totally, 10/10 for its price.

  • I’m confused with this DNA. I first heard it in the YSL and liked it, then in the Odyssey Mega I hated the synthetic opening and sold it. Later, my brother bought the Mega again, I gave it another chance, and I smelled it differently; I liked it so much that I decided to buy the Yeah. For the first few days, I felt that synthetic opening, like plastic or burnt fat, and I regretted the zero longevity (2-3 hours). Now, after several sprays, I no longer feel that unpleasant opening (seems like only my nose) and now I actually like the scent, just like with the Mega. Maybe it oxidized a bit. I hope its longevity increases because it tempted me to buy the YSL, which I saw for $116.

I didn’t like it. It’s not ugly, but it feels like a cheap perfume with lots of alcohol. I repeat, it’s not bad, but it’s far off in quality. Acceptable performance. I recommend the Ameer Al Arab Imperium that copies the Y EDP, a jewel.

  • A delightful and surprising redemption. My relationship with Maison Alhambra wasn’t the best until Yeah Man arrived. Before, I only found synthetic, sharp, and tiring scents. Upon trying it, I thought it was another typical loud Alhambra citrus, but a few minutes later, the magic appeared: an incredible copy of the Y EDP. It’s hard to tell them apart. The opening is bright and citrusy, giving way to exquisite green apple and an herbal-aromatic accord. Tonka bean and light woods round off a blue composition that’s ultra-versatile and addictive. If the Y is my favorite, this replica deserves praise. The performance is acceptable, lasting similar to the original (5-7 hours), and for around $30, it’s a noble price-to-quality ratio. Only two downsides: the name and the bottle, which are ugly. But it surprises how well it replicates the original, so today it’s not worth spending on the YSL. It’s a charming, versatile, and addictive blue scent for a fraction of the price. One of the safest bets on the market.

I bought the 30ml version, opened the box, and smelled shaving foam. I didn’t expect much for the price. It projects quite well, has a moderate trail, and lasts quite a bit on clothes, but on skin it was very faint after 5 hours. The notes are noticeable if you know them. It’s rich, but IT IS NOT A PREMIUM PERFUME. I used it once and it broke me up, but that’s personal.

  • torcuatense

Those who criticize with such emphasis forget what they’re paying for. The scent is too well-crafted and, in my opinion, far surpasses the Fakhar Black; the performance is more than decent. It’s a brilliant price-to-quality ratio that I love. It’s for all terrains: work, bus, office, factory… Great perfume.

  • Donfinolis

Almost identical to the Y EDP, but four times cheaper. It’s a great perfume, don’t let the bad reviews fool you and buy it.

  • Starts with apple, bergamot, and ginger, promising freshness with a fruity touch. Then comes sage with juniper and geranium, giving it that clean, youthful vibe. It closes with amber, tonka, vetiver, and woods that add warmth and body without losing the freshness. It’s an easy, cheerful, and youthful perfume, perfect for quiet days, a relaxed office, or casual meetups. It’s not a powerhouse, but it does the job perfectly for smelling fresh and uncomplicated.

  • Esteban Gomez

Very good perfume, excellent for the price. I bought it for about $20 and it lasts almost as long as the original. The apple note is more diluted than in Y EDP, but it’s still incredible. I recommend it 100%.

  • Amazing perfume (Yeah! Man). I had the chance to try YSL Y EDP and it’s identical. Longevity is very good on my skin (I use moisturizer): more than 9 hours close to the skin and good projection (about 2 hours). I let it rest (‘macerate’) to improve the scent and performance, as many recommend. I’ll surely edit this in a month to see if it improved.

Sorry to designer perfume lovers: Y EDP has better quality, but in Argentina it costs $160 and after reformulation it doesn’t last even 5 hours. On the contrary, here we have the Yeah from Maison Alhambra for $25 with similar longevity and projection and a very similar, pleasant aroma. I don’t doubt it for a second.

  • This perfume will make me buy the original; it’s one of my favorites (I have the Yeah Man version) and the scent is identical to the original, even if it doesn’t last or project anything (maybe the old version performed better). I tested it nose-to-nose at a perfumery and it’s the same. It’s a 1-to-1 clone that’s too good and fills my life with joy for home use. If you want to smell like YSL Y EDP without having the resources, this is the one. Beautiful for everyday wear, I can’t stop smelling it.

  • SebastianC2702

I had the old version that just said ‘Yeah’, it ran out, and I bought the new Yeah Man; it’s very good with no notable differences. It’s a mix between Y EDT and Y EDP because the apple note feels more diluted and fresh, and honestly, I prefer it. The quality is very good, almost equal to the original. Someday I want to smell them blindfolded with reviewers and they’d surely get confused, even though videos say people notice a difference. The YSL line is synthetic but delicious, just like Yeah. It smells like designer without fear; if it doesn’t last, reapply at 5 hours. In the US, the original costs $100 and this one is $14-18, it’s ridiculous.

  • I bought this Yeah to avoid the YSL price skyrocketing 🤣. Side by side, it’s super similar to the original. The performance isn’t great, but the latest YSL batches are already trash in that regard, so it’s not something to worry too much about.

  • I tried this Yeah Man! dupe of YSL Y EDP in a decant and decided to buy the bottle. For under $20, it’s worth it. At first, YSL smells better, but it costs 5 times more. After 15 minutes as they dry down, they are practically identical (I tested them side-by-side on each arm). The longevity surprised me: 6 hours with about an hour of projection. Don’t be scared, at this price, reapplying is painless just like with YSL. I recommend it 100%.

  • Lasts between 4 and 5 hours, good scent and easy to like, but that’s where the issue lies with longevity.

  • FRANCIS2299

Good dupe, it’s quite similar to the original, though the Arabic version is more synthetic, but then as it dries down, it develops its own personality. It’s easy to wear for daily use, lasting between 4 and 5 hours. Good perfume for the price.

  • Rick Azafranado

Fantastic dupe of Y EDP. Versatile beyond belief, works for any weather and time of day. It’s very hard for someone not to like it; it’s an easy-to-wear scent. I got it for $15 in Chile, what could be better? 3 sprays. Don’t expect beast mode performance or top-tier quality, but I repeat, for the price, it’s spectacular, which is why I love it. It’s very similar to YSL Y, but obviously, it feels a bit more synthetic, but who cares? Nobody notices.

  • I’m back to update my review of Yeah by comparing it directly to YSL Y EDP. Now that I finally got the original, I realized this Yeah is an excellent dupe for the price. At first, the Arabic scent feels more synthetic and plasticky than YSL, which is also synthetic but much less so. As they dry down, they evolve very similarly and are so alike that I almost regret spending money on the original, thinking this one wasn’t worth it. The scent is a classic blue, versatile for almost everything except extreme weather; perfect for the office, post-gym, walks, or casual dates. The longevity is weak, but given the price, reapplying isn’t painful: with YSL, 10-11 sprays equal 20-21 of Yeah to get minimal projection and still smell it on yourself.

  • Words can’t describe it; the best dupe for Y EDP. The sillage is incredible and the longevity is huge; I’ve worn it for 3 days and I can still smell it on my clothes. It’s a beast, and at this price, anyone wouldn’t think twice.

  • One of the first I bought when I started collecting, looking for something blue and versatile. I saw on TikTok that it was similar to YSL Y EDP and was convinced by the notes and the hype. I went to smell the original to be sure, and they smell almost the same, with that green apple, sage, and incense vibe. But until today, it hasn’t fully convinced me because it feels very synthetic (you can’t expect much from a $20 perfume). If you want to smell almost like the original without spending, buy it without hesitation; you smell clean and elegant. That’s my personal opinion; maybe it’s just my nose. Ask if you want to know more!

  • Rich and versatile; it projects for 4 hours and 40 minutes before starting to fade. It’s a gem, a super good scent for the gym, office, or school. Obviously, after that, you need to reapply.

  • agusteeno13

To start, I bought YSL Y a week ago, a perfume I’ve always liked, but to be honest, at that price point, you reserve it for special occasions. I always wondered if Yeah Man was a good dupe or just a scam, so after buying the original, I decided to try this one with a clear goal: use the DNA of Y without the guilt of daily wear. Now, let’s get to the point. Do they smell alike? Yes. And a lot, they’re almost indistinguishable. If you’re reading this, you’re probably wondering whether to spend half your paycheck on the designer or go for a more accessible alternative. To settle the debate, I did the classic test: one spray of YSL Y on one arm and one of Yeah Man on the other. Quick conclusion: they’re 90% similar. When I say 90%, it’s almost identical in scent, but not exactly the same. Where’s the difference? YSL Y feels more intense, with better quality and depth. It has layers, more brightness, a more polished and opulent feel. The notes are more distinct; everything is better constructed. Yeah Man, on the other hand, is more linear. The scent is there, the DNA is there, but without that depth. It’s like taking the Y scent, mixing it heavily with alcohol, and leaving it flatter. It’s not ugly by any means, but you can tell it’s a dupe. The opening on Yeah Man is a bit synthetic, alcoholic, and thin, but watch out: after about 15 minutes, the scent is practically the same. That’s where you say, ‘Okay, it delivers.’ Performance: no surprises here; the performance is inferior to the original Y. It projects and lasts less, feeling more moderate. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t compete on equal footing in this regard. Conclusion: If you want the DNA of YSL Y for daily wear without guilt or fear of spending, Yeah Man is a totally valid option. It doesn’t replace the original 100%, but for the price, the similarity and suitability for daily use are very good.

  • Ultra-synthetic ambroxan, sweet and loud, typical of Arabic perfumes, with apple and sage notes at the start, but a synthetic and generic dry-down that doesn’t appeal to me. For the price, you can’t ask for more, but I don’t see it as a worthy substitute for YSL. Edit: I realized it’s my skin that’s the problem; it highlights the synthetic notes. On clothes, it smells exquisite and fresh, without the ambroxan dominating and everything balanced. Bad luck on my part; I experience this with several perfumes.

  • After owning the original Y EDP and comparing it to other dupes, I can say this is the best one. It has exactly the same scent. The only difference is that the YSL version has better quality, more intensity, lasts longer, and is obviously superior. However, Yeah! is a good alternative that costs $10-20 and is totally worth it. It’s not as intense or high-quality as the original, but it’s worth having if you want to get an idea of what Y EDP smells like, or if you already own it and don’t want to use it up too fast. In my opinion: Yeah! > Odyssey Mega > Fakhar Black.

  • My signature is the original Y EDP; I bought it for the gym. At first, they’re 95% identical, but as they dry down, the difference becomes noticeable. It’s still pleasant, though not as addictive as the original; you lose that vibrant and relaxing blend of green apple and ginger. It’s like a Y without the ‘asteroids,’ but it’s still pretty good for the gym or quick outings.

  • I was short on cash and wanted to smell like Y EDP until I could finally buy it again. This perfume is 90% similar in vibe, but it lacks refinement and feels extremely flat. It emphasizes the apple note more than the Odyssey Mega dupe I reviewed earlier, while still keeping the herbal-aromatic side, so it could be considered a better dupe in terms of scent similarity. As for longevity, projection, and sillage, it’s quite poor: lasts strong for about 4 hours and 15 minutes, fades to moderate, and by the 1.5-hour mark it’s very soft, almost imperceptible. Projection is about 30 minutes at arm’s length. Sillage is moderate for the first 15 minutes and then, to be kind, soft. For the price, it’s a great option if you want to smell like Y EDP quickly and don’t mind spraying 15 times initially, then 6-8 every two hours. But don’t expect more than that. It loses the elegance of Y EDP by sacrificing refinement, so it’s relegated to daily wear and close encounters only.

  • When I opened it, I thought: no way, these Arabs copy even the box’s embossing and colors, they went too far with this copy. I had little left of the original Y and decided to try this hyper-affordable perfumazo. It’s very similar; the original Y has a more shocking opening with lots of ginger that gives you a headache, and it didn’t last more than 5 hours on me, to the point I felt bad reapplying such an expensive bottle. This Yeah is for that: to spray without fear, walk around with a decant reapplying whenever you want, and enjoy it for the price of a Nautica Voyage. For its price, Yeah isn’t worth criticizing; it’s very well done, and it’s where they match most in the dry-down on skin.

Here you ask if it’s worth spending over $100 on a perfume. It’s an excellent Maison Alhambra inspiration, well-executed, though with certain differences from the OG. It comes in at about five times the price. It would be great if they released a 150ml or 200ml version to really hit that trigger.

  • lic en perfumeria

Does it smell like the YSL Y? For an inexperienced nose like mine, yes, without a doubt. It’s true it doesn’t have that depth in the phases like the OG, but the original doesn’t ask for much anyway. Plus, considering the accessible price of YEAH, it’s excellent. I had it for under $30. In terms of longevity, both Yeah and the OG have medium performance, with the OG being slightly better, but as others say, for the price reapplying shouldn’t be an issue. In my case, I’m not interested in reapplying; with 7-8 sprays, I feel it with me for about 5 hours, though without leaving a trail or projecting, maybe not after the first 2. That’s the least important thing, since in my professional setting I prefer not to overwhelm with strong projection. If you like the Y, you’ll like Yeah; if not, you only like the marketing and aspirational fragrances. P.S. How versatile is this perfume. Although I don’t see it for a very cold night :))))

  • Exactly the same as the YSL Y EDP. I had it, tested it, and even smelled it on other people: it’s the same fragrance and delivers the same experience. I’ve heard there are other copies that are even more similar, honestly I don’t know how, because this one already seems identical to me 😅. Totally recommended.

  • It’s essentially similar to the original YSL Y, but it sacrifices longevity and potency. For the price and if you don’t mind reapplying, it’s a very good option. I tested this and Fakhar together in-store; while the latter lasts longer, the other doesn’t feel quite as similar and has a fruitier or sweeter twist that fatigues me too much.

  • diegomagadan

For dupes, you have to compare it to the base fragrance. I have both: the Y EDP by YSL and this one from Maison Alhambra. They’re almost identical. Unlike many Arabic dupes, this one is quite good, maybe because the original smells very synthetic and here the ingredients are more affordable. The only difference is that Yeah Man smells more intense right out of the bottle, but it doesn’t last as long. For the price (I’ve seen it for $18), it’s totally worth it; I’d even say it’s worth having more than two.

  • I don’t get why people say it fails on projection; the first two hours leave strong trails right on the arms. Longevity is low, maxing out at 4 or 5 hours, but it’s worth it for the price—I bought two bottles, lol.

  • It’s a masculine gem and very rich, inspired by the Y Eau de Parfum because of the bottle. A safe blind buy if you’re looking for something easy to like that smells clean. At $15, it’s an excellent option to feel just like the Y.

  • The performance is inconsistent; sometimes I feel like they swap out the bottle. Inspired by the Y EDP, it’s not identical but the vibe is almost the same: apple, ginger, and that classic clean touch. It gets compliments, it’s all-rounder for any occasion and weather, unless you’re heading out in freezing temps since the fruity notes can’t handle much cold. I’d buy it again, though among dupes I prefer Halloween Mystery. Scent 8/10, Price 10/10, Projection 7/10, Longevity 7/10.
