Mandodari by Prin Lomros is a fragrance that leaves you speechless. Named after a Hindu goddess, it’s crafted for a woman with character. Forget sweet or fruity notes; elegance takes the lead here. It’s pure floral, featuring a bouquet of whites resting on the house’s signature smoky, mossy base, but calmer here, supported by an exquisite amber background with labdanum, sandalwood, ambergris, and civet. The floral accords are incredibly natural, thanks to absolutes of neroli, jasmine, orange blossom, and rose. If I had to highlight something, it would be the neroli with the sweetness of champaca, but honestly, it’s unnecessary because everything smells divine. The smoky touch, with tobacco and spices, gives it a darker, more unique character, proving it’s not an obvious perfume. It’s not hard to wear; simply enchanting. That amber base with the flowers is warm and comforting. A masterpiece. For me, it’s a high-category fragrance, in a league of its own. If you like florals, buy it. If not, try it anyway. Cheers!
