Quick review, straight to the point: it doesn’t smell good at all.
Is there actually any difference between the ‘For Her’ version and the grey box ‘For Him’ edition?
It’s the only one from Zara’s Exclusive collection I couldn’t handle. Neither I nor my partner, who is a man, enjoyed the scent at all. Right now, I feel completely incapable of wearing so much leather (and I’m not sure I ever will). I love the leather note in other perfumes where it’s more moderate; it adds depth, an animalic and smoky touch, even an addictive one, but here the slap in the face is just too intense for me. Basically, I only smell leather. The aroma quickly transported me to the tanneries in Fez, watching workers beat and dye scraps of skin. It’s a place where, even though I didn’t do it, some tourists cover their noses and mouths to breathe less of that atmosphere. It was a nice evocation, but I’m sorry, it’s not for me; I can’t wear it on my skin. If you like its scent, and I know many people do, the quality is unquestionable. Its trail is huge and very long-lasting; on my skin, it lasts about 10 hours. For obvious reasons, True Leather had to leave my collection to pass to hands that could actually wear it. Scent 0/10 Longevity 10/10 Sillage 10/10 Value 10/10 Versatility 0/10 Packaging 7.5/10 Would I buy again? No
