Jupiter by Electimuss is an olfactive fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2020, the nose behind this composition is Sofia Bardelli. The top notes reveal oud wood, frankincense, saffron, davana, and labdanum; the heart unfolds patchouli, vetiver, sandalwood, and cedar; while the base notes close with ambrette musk, ambergris, musk, tonka bean, and vanilla.

Starting with my first perfume from this brand. The box is gorgeous, in a very striking lilac. The bottle is huge and heavy; figuring out how to open it was a challenge since the capsule with the metal cap looks like one solid piece and requires force to pop the outer jacket off. The scent is an evolution of the Rose Oud combo: very woody with a medicinal oud, not intense but noticeable, highlighting labdanum, frankincense, and saffron at first. As it dries down, the vanilla, sandalwood, and ambergris balance everything perfectly. I love it. It’s very similar to Oud Palao and Blessing Silence The House of Oud, but with about a third of the intensity. In short, English brands have excellent and interesting scents, like Creed, Floris, Electimuss, or Beaufort. But their major issue is the price and their disastrous performance. Jupiter is very good, but it doesn’t last or project. For me, it’s been a disappointment, and I won’t be buying from this brand again. Mature aroma, unisex, leaning masculine, suitable for all seasons, formal and semi-formal. Scent 9.5/10, Trail 4.5/10, Projection 4/10, Longevity 4/10.

Another version of OUD AZAFRÁN, but the trail and projection are weak.
