This is BR540. For simple noses like mine, it’s a hit. Sure, there are probably a thousand nuances that set us apart, but my dear, the moment I smelled Trajano for the first time, BR540 immediately came to mind. And that’s priceless.
First off, let’s say the resemblance to a myth like Baccarat Rouge 540 is tenuous, and I find it unfair to compare them. Here we have something much more balanced, moving away from sweetness to become slightly green, vegetal—like a garden, fresh-cut grass. Something creamy emerges over time. At the very beginning, it’s vibrant, but that fades within minutes. It’s elegant and very unisex, suitable for any season. Unfortunately, its performance is very poor. Absolutely far from BR540 in that regard, even in modern formulations.
