Quite a masculine scent. It’s the only one from the miniature collection that, as a woman, I wouldn’t wear for myself because it has such a distinct character, but what a wonderful fragrance… It starts very fresh and aromatic with a beautiful lavender, but as it dries down, you notice a spicier tone—the incense and leather darken the fragrance. It smells like very realistic suede, something you want to smell all the time. Endymion is one of those gifts you’d give a partner for a special occasion. For sure.

It smells like very realistic suede and is something you want to smell all the time. Endymion is one of those gifts you’d give a partner for a special occasion. For sure.
It hurts to read that this perfume has poor performance because I absolutely loved it when I smelled it. It smells like a man just out of the shower, expensive aftershave, and clean linen sheets. What made me try it was the bottle: I’m a slave to design and can’t hide it. Among all the transparent Penhaligon’s bottles, this one attracted me with its dark color and celestial motifs. It’s extremely versatile, but for me, it has a nighttime touch… maybe because of the bottle or the intimacy it evokes. I loved it, but I wish it lasted longer. Still, it’s a pleasure to smell it, and if not for the price, it would almost be worth reapplying every x hours.

It’s a shame that such a wonderful fragrance is so moderate in longevity and projection; if not for this, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it, but at the price of Penhaligon’s products, they should avoid releasing such weak scents. Personally, I’m not willing to reapply every two hours. Edit: five years later, I still have it. Longevity remains moderate, but a good shower and a little Endymion before bed is a perfect plan for my personal enjoyment, and I have no intention of giving it up.
