A perfume made to please everyone. It opens spicy, but without the overwhelming ‘Arab bazaar’ scent; it’s a subtle spice, like cedar or oak drawers. Soon, frankincense emerges with a touch of sweet fruit and vanilla. I don’t detect prominent saffron, but rather a blend of spices, perhaps a hint of rose. That ‘fussy’ note feels more like cedar or oak than oud, drying down to frankincense, vanilla, and some fruit for sweetness. Even if the official notes don’t match, this is how it smells to me. The Murano glass bottle is a real jewel, though it’s a fingerprint magnet. Longevity lasts a full workday; if you have split shifts, you might need to reapply around noon. It’s noticeably strong and timeless for the first three hours. Perfect as a signature scent. The only downside is the price, but nothing is perfect.
