Descripción

Remember Me by Jovoy Paris is a citrus gourmand fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by nose Cécile Zarokian. The top notes of cardamom, lemon, and bergamot deliver a vibrant, acidic opening. The heart reveals a blend of tea, ginger, and frangipani, adding depth and an exotic touch. Finally, the base notes settle with milk, vanilla, woods, and cedar, closing the olfactory pyramid with an enveloping, gourmand warmth.

I liked it a lot, but definitely not what I expected. According to reviews, it’s a milk chai (?), but on me it has a strange resemblance to Mon Guerlain. The opening feels very warm, with a green and fresh touch, like freshly cut leaves in an infusion. Then it transforms into a subtle aroma of vanilla flowers; it’s the most natural plumeria I’ve ever smelled, nothing astringent or like sunscreen. At the end, I do detect something lactonic, but very faint. Smelling it alongside Mon Guerlain, they don’t look alike, but separately they give the same effect and ‘vibe,’ especially in the opening. I wanted something more gourmand, but my skin highlights the florals. Still, it’s a very beautiful perfume, barely sweet. For quiet days at home or gatherings with friends. Moderate sillage, 8-10 hours longevity.

  • ‘Remember Me’ is one of Jovoy’s perfumes that demonstrates quality and originality. The scent is very lactonic and vanilla-like from start to finish, more like a vanilla latte than a chai. It has green nuances of tea and cardamom, but what I notice most is the frangipani blended with white flowers and woods (I assume sandalwood and cedar) that give it a creamy aspect. I think making perfumes with a milk accord is difficult, and here it’s done so balanced that it produces enjoyment and relaxation for me. I see it as more feminine than masculine, versatile for before bed, a date, or a formal event, all without being hot. Finally, I’d think about owning it, but smelling it on my girlfriend would be even better. Rating: 8/10

  • Total disappointment; I don’t know if it’s my skin, but I detect neither lactonic nor vanilla. On me, it’s a yellow floral with ginger and tea; I perceive no other notes. It feels almost 100% feminine. If I smelled it straight out of the bottle all the time, I’d say that, but later it changes completely: the floral charge drops, the vanilla becomes noticeable, the lactonic part doesn’t appear, the ginger fades, and the woody notes become more present. It’s true that you have to go through an unpleasant opening to get here, but if you stick with it, the dry down is very rich.

I never blind buy; I use samples, but with this one I had an immediate hunch. After thinking about it, I bought it, and it’s been the best purchase of the year. ‘Remember Me’ is a creamy chai tea (milk tea, spices, and herbs). It opens with freshly squeezed citrus, a spicy touch, and minty green accords. At first, it didn’t fascinate me, but that phase passes quickly. Soon, the milk tea appears with an explosion of frangipani. As it dries down, it settles into a soft, creamy vanilla with ginger, lemon, and woods. The scent feels familiar to me, but I don’t know what to. It makes me happy and brings calm, something hard to find for someone with mental health issues. I feel like a special person is hugging me. It reminded me of Magenta Tanzanite, Princess by Kilian, and Lira by Xerjoff depending on the phase. It’s exotic, aromatic, cozy, mysterious, delicate, and feminine. Highly creamy and lactonic. A sweetness and acidity in sync. My most comforting perfume. Ideal for autumn but very versatile. Sillage is moderate to soft with high longevity, around 8 hours. It invites the person next to you to curl up. I don’t recommend blind buying because it changes a lot depending on the skin (I’ve tested it on several). On me and my family, we got lucky, and it shines especially. Since it arrived, I don’t want anything else. I like the scent, how it sits on me, how I feel, the bottle, and the name… Finally, my signature? EDIT: It’s a warm embrace at midnight and a caress in the dry down. Solace on agitated days when breathing gets short. I DON’T WANT TO LIVE WITHOUT THIS. ❣️

Uyuyuyyyy… Oh my goodness! Attention spice addicts and anyone looking for something distinct from the usual (like Kenzo Elephant, Bossa Wood, etc.). This one is going to blow your mind 🤯. BLIND BUY SAFE. My beloved Starlight just got a serious competitor.

  • I had the chance to get a sample, and while it doesn’t disgust me, there’s something that doesn’t quite fit. Maybe I’m crazy, but it reminds me a lot of Mon Guerlain with a good dose of milk. I definitely prefer Mon Guerlain.

  • I loved the opening; yes, it’s quite similar to Kilian’s Princess. The dry down reminds me of freshly baked bread, I’m not sure why. I’ll test it more carefully and edit with more conclusions.

This perfume moves me; it feels like a cozy hug. It’s creamy, with a citrus hint but not acidic, soft and slightly sweet, far from being cloying. It smells spicy and like tea. The projection is very subtle, an intimate and enveloping scent. I have the 15ml version but want the big bottle because every time I use it, it comforts me, gives me tenderness and emotional security. It’s a simple and sensitive journey.

It’s a precious gem, like a cozy hug. A spicy, creamy tea similar to Kilian’s Princess; I own both, and if I had to choose just one, I’d stick with Remember Me.

  • Once again, Cecile… at your feet, a work of art: the first lactonic perfume I like, and I see it as more suitable for men. Citrus-spicy opening, with a touch of ginger and tea, making it fresh and invigorating, perfect for warm climates. But with that, there are 100,000 perfumes… where is the special part of Remember Me? Where is the memorable part??? Oh, friend! Well, all that mixes with the lactonic vanilla touch… PUFFFFF, what a wonder. It’s very special, very magical.

  • In my search for the ideal chai latte, I found Remember Me and ordered a decant. Uuuufff, how beautiful. It’s the definition of comfort; it makes you want to drink it right from the first spray. Opens cold, sparkling, and refreshing. A burst of citrus and spice. It has a milky sensation throughout the development, which intensifies as it dries with vanilla and frangipani, adding creaminess. It’s sweet and delicate. If you love milk tea, try it. I expected it to be more autumnal, but it works for all seasons. It has an air of Kilian’s Princess, one of my favorites. Both transport me back to childhood. Straight to my cozy favorites list.

  • When I saw ‘citrus-lactonic-vanilla,’ I thought I wouldn’t be surprised, but I was wrong. It’s special, different from the many vanilla-lemon scents out there today thanks to the tea note, which is the absolute star. Paired with a spicy ginger touch, it tames the sweetness, making it fresh and wearable. As it dries, it becomes lactonic and woody without losing freshness. It’s neither simple tea nor lemon cookies; it’s a perfect middle ground that works brilliantly. I see it as unisex and suitable for all seasons. Lasts 7-8 hours on skin with moderate projection and sillage. One of my favorites from the house, hands down.

  • I have a sample and loved it, but @OihasTe is right—it’s too similar to my Mon Guerlain, so I’ll skip the bottle. That said, it’s just too beautiful. Recommended.

This Remember Me is an absolute gem. It smells like chai—very delicate and cozy, warm but not realistic; it evokes the essence of tea, not the cup itself. More comforting than sweet, with fresh spice and soft citrus notes at the start that create a green illusion. Then, creamy white and yellow flowers join the tea, which leans more toward blue than black or green. The dry down is soft and beautiful, with subtle notes reappearing like reflections. I tried a 2ml sample and fell in love; I’m buying the 15ml soon. I wore it in fall, but I even dared to take it to a tropical beach, and it was excellent.
