It starts as a dupe of Bvlgari’s M.I.B, then turns into plum and pistachio jam with fresh dates. Very good, oriental, and with brutal longevity. The dry down is identical to Bvlgari’s. 8.5/10
Too much in every way… Overwhelming, invasive, with an outdated scent and extremely strong projection. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

Another gem by Daniel Josier. Fruity Maghreb with patchouli cutting through everything, perfectly balanced with sandalwood and musk as it dries down. It goes from the market to the palace: it evolves to gain an incredible and very pleasant distinction.
Taraq is an olfactory masterpiece that takes you on a fascinating journey between the Middle East and Spain. From the moment you spray it, a dance of notes unfolds, capturing that cultural fusion. The top notes, with plum, saffron, and nuts, open the curtain with an explosion of exoticism and mystery, as if a Moroccan market or an Andalusian fair came to life. In the heart, rose, date, leather, and oud intertwine, like walking through historic alleyways where spices mix with worn leather and flowers in hidden courtyards. At the end, patchouli, sandalwood, musk, and amber create a comforting closure, like arriving at an oasis after a long journey. What makes it unique is its connection to history: inspired by the rattle, it embodies the heritage of both worlds, from ancient Spain to Arab souks. Every spray is a tribute to our shared history. In short, it’s a sensory journey that feeds the soul, perfect for exploring old streets or escaping the routine. It deserves a prominent spot in any perfume lover’s collection.
Another masterpiece by Daniel Josier. Fruity Maghreb with omnipresent patchouli and many oriental evocations that balance beautifully with sandalwood and musk as it dries down. It travels, so to speak, from the market to the palace: as it evolves, it gains a surprising and delightful distinction.
Taraq is a masterpiece that takes you on a journey between the East and Spain. Upon spraying, you note plum, saffron, and nuts that sound like a Moroccan market or an Andalusian fair. Then rose, date, leather, and oud create a magical harmony. Finally, patchouli, sandalwood, and musk provide a comforting finish. Inspired by the rattle, it’s a tribute to our shared history. It’s a sensory journey that feeds the soul and deserves a place in your collection.
Well, I just tried it and it’s pleasant, smells clean but nothing groundbreaking, very similar to Halfeti by Penhaligon’s. The others by Nitor actually offer something distinct, like Nuevalos, Ocaña, or Babieca… I’d give Taraq a scraped 5 out of 10.
