I hadn’t bought a body mist in years until I found If You Musk. Undoubtedly, it’s very similar to Glossier’s You, but on my skin it dries down sweeter and creamier. The iris is more present and the pink pepper less spicy; I think it’s exactly what I expected from You. Performance-wise, there’s not much to add: it stays close to the skin for a few hours and then fades.
One of my favorite body mists, ideal for layering with fresher perfumes. At first, the pepper is intense and smells like paper, but soon the iris and clean musk emerge, nothing harsh. It’s soft, for feeling clean. It’s a feminine unisex; my brother loves it and uses it on clothes, where it lasts over 24 hours. I wish it were eternal—I know it’s a seasonal limited edition, but it’s such an exact dupe of Glossier’s You that I want it available forever. Worth it, it doesn’t smell like a common body mist, it smells like perfume and a person. I love it.

The best I’ve tried from this brand: real perfume longevity and projection with a scent that always makes me glow.
It’s hard to explain the first impression, so I came back to write this after wearing it more. Notes: super delicate musk, ghostly peach, angelic iris, something ethereal citrus, and another note that smells like the fizz of carbonated water. Scent: fresh shower steam with cool air, freshly washed skin, but sophisticated; it doesn’t just smell like soap, it’s a subliminal vibe you can’t quite place. Addictive from the first sniff, just like l’Imperatrice: it has that “I don’t know what it is” factor—it’s not watermelon or pear; I thought it was ozonic notes, I’m not sure, but I’m certain it has that. It smells like something you take a deep breath of, not powdery (thanks to the iris). Reminds me of the plastic note in Hypnotic Vanilla but much softer; if you love those two, this is a great option. For me, it’s the absolute chemical cousin of Absoluta, and without knowing the Glossier one, I think it must be similar, so I’m grabbing it ASAP.
