One of my favorite body mists, perfect for layering with fresher perfumes. At first, the pepper is strong and smells like paper, but soon the iris and clean musk emerge, nothing harsh. It’s soft, for feeling clean. It’s a feminine unisex; my brother loves it and uses it on clothes, where it lasts over 24 hours. I wish it were eternal—I know it’s a seasonal limited edition, but it’s such an exact dupe of Glossier’s You that I want it available forever. Worth it, it doesn’t smell like a common body mist, it smells like perfume and a person. I love it.

I hadn’t bought a body mist in years until I found If You Musk. Undoubtedly, it’s very similar to Glossier’s You, but on my skin it dries down sweeter and creamier. The iris is more present and the pink pepper less spicy; I think it’s exactly what I expected from You. Performance-wise, there’s not much to add: it stays close to the skin for a few hours and then fades.
