To start, this perfume deserves way more than its current 3.83 rating. The opening is exquisite; my trusted perfumer told me it smells just like Alexandria II by Xerjoff, and while the notes differ, the resemblance is undeniable. As it dries down, it takes a different path: becoming woody and sweet with a delicious cinnamon. There’s no cloying sweetness, just a touch of amber and a hint of tonka vanilla that don’t stand out but add roundness and complexity. We also get a soft oud and a subtle musk that push from the base without being intrusive. The performance isn’t beast mode: it lasts well for the first few hours and then stays skin-close for about 6-7 hours. But I repeat, it’s an exquisite fragrance worth the hype even if it fades sooner, because I absolutely love it and everyone I wear it on adores it. Finally, the bottle is top-tier quality; the sound of the Ormonde Jayne cap clicking shut gives me a pleasure I didn’t expect. The packaging is stunning, with a box that opens from both sides and gorgeous colors. Definitely deserves a higher rating. Hope my review helps. Always test on skin before buying. by BUTS
