  Bois d’Ebene, ebony wood. Aurelien Guichard defines it as a dark, woody amber. The oily woody note of Gaiac oil predominates, making it a dry scent, yet sweetened and ambered by Brazilian Cabreuva oil. Cypriol adds a bright nuance, while patchouli stays very in the background, barely perceptible as a distant echo. It also has resinous facets. I’m not a fan of ambers, so it left me cold, but it smells high-quality. For lovers of dark woods, it’s almost mandatory to try it. Longevity and sillage are above average. Au revoir!

  The most hyper-realistic and rich ebony wood perfume I’ve ever encountered. Literally, it’s a wood aroma enhanced by notes that only serve to sublime it throughout the entire journey. It has that warm wood intensity that sometimes turns sweet. It’s a natural sweetness from the raw material itself; a dark, precious wood that doesn’t need adornments to make an impact. Anything made from this material is, by definition, beautiful and special. Elegant, warm, and very cozy presence, like a piece of furniture or a wooden house.

  Super woody fragrance, elegant and classy. It’s perfect for mature, balanced individuals. The longevity and sillage are great, and you can really tell the quality of the materials. It hits the mark: a sober yet attractive scent. It dried down beautifully on my skin, which is notoriously uncooperative. If you try it, you’ll be glad you did.
