Descripción
X-Centric by Alfred Dunhill is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2001, this composition was created by Maurice Roucel and Frank Voelkl. The top notes unfold with green leaves, cypress, nutmeg, statice, cardamom, grapefruit, and cinnamon; the heart reveals cedar, lotus flower, freesia, and rose; while the base notes settle on guaiac wood, musk, patchouli, ambergris, and sandalwood.

I think they priced it way too low. It’s ideal for daytime, summer, sports, but elegant and with character. For night, it lacks projection and goes unnoticed among the gourmands the youth uses. The drydown is serious; on my skin, the ambergris, lotus, and freesia last hours. It’s clean, luminous, and mysterious. It doesn’t shout, just wants to be recognized by those close. Lasts over six hours, but its flaw is weak projection and the name isn’t that eccentric.
I think they underestimated it. Ideal for daytime, summer, sports, or casual wear, but with class. For night, it lacks projection and goes unnoticed, especially among the gourmand monsters the youth uses now. The drydown is serious and interesting; on my skin, the ambergris, lotus, and freesia last hours. Clean, luminous, summery, and mysterious. It doesn’t seek attention, just wants to be recognized by those close. Lasts over six hours, but its flaw is weak projection and the name doesn’t do it justice; it’s not that eccentric.
I hate the cypress and the woodiness. It’s fresh, herbal, and versatile for any occasion; feels timeless. Although it shines more in the heat, it works just as well in the cold. A pleasant and unconventional fragrance that doesn’t smell like anything I know.

What a pity they discontinued it. It doesn’t resemble anything else. Lasts long without being invasive, elegant and informal. For mature men, nothing sweet. Hard to explain. They didn’t value this eau de toilette enough before, which performs 1000 times better than current EDPs. What’s happening with the industry? If they don’t step up, the Arabs will devour all of Western perfumery, which lives off past rents with one-hour suds. This fragrance lasts as it should and does its job like before.
What a shame they discontinued it. It smells like something entirely different and nothing else. Lasts a shot but isn’t heavy; elegant and casual, perfect for an experienced man. Zero sweetness. Hard to explain, but it outperforms current EDPs. The industry is lost; if they don’t wake up, the Arabs will take over the Western market with their fragrances that last an hour. This one smells good, works, and was made this way back in the day.
Bestia: cheap, powerful, and the only one that holds up in the summer sun without giving me a headache.
Super good, affordable, and very fresh for summer.
