It’s Essential by Rasasi

Perfect fragrance, an all-rounder that stole my heart even though I already own it. It’s a dupe of YSL L’Homme Ultime, a little-known fact, and it works like a charm in intense heat. Not cloying, smells great in the air. Rasasi makes rich fresh scents, but everyone uses Hawas and Hawas Ice. Here, you smell good without smelling like anyone else. 8/10.

The citrus opening is the best part, pity it lasts only 20 minutes and shifts to a floral that doesn’t fully convince me. For $12, it’s not a bad option and most people will love it. In my case, expectations exceeded reality. A shame.

Rasasi never misses; it reminds me of three rich fragrances: YSL L’Homme Ultime, a bit of Natura, and a touch of Geranium, Lavender, Bergamot, Cedar, and Vetiver like Terre d’Hermès. On my skin, it lasts 7 hours. It’s subtle, smells like a clean shirt, neat, and attractive. Maybe it won’t suit others, but for me, citrus notes are hard to stick with—even Acqua di Gio—and this Rasasi definitely sticks.

It unifies the florals, the geranium (doesn’t smell like rose as some say), from its unisex facet with a masculine, woody, clean, almost soapy base. The listed notes aren’t accurate; check the official website or competitors starting with P. It has staying power: starts bright, gains strength, and ends aromatic. Versatile, tasty for men, and attractive for women. Well-executed, creates addiction. Recommended, good price and scent; it seems like a trick to think it doesn’t last long but performs a lot. Suitable for all year, daytime, and any occasion. This review doesn’t consider the YSL inspiration (I haven’t smelled it and it’s discontinued). Accessible price, it’s recent, and few reviewers mention it. Don’t stick with the old ones; smell before reformulation. Top: orange, bergamot, pear. Heart: geranium, lavender, magnolia, jasmine. Base: cinnamon, cardamom, tobacco, guaiac, vanilla, cedar. It also emulates Very Valentino, Ganymide, and pre-reformulated Drakkar Noir.

It recalls the legendary YSL L’Homme Ultime, but here Rasasi mixes white flowers like jasmine and lavender that dominate the aromatic show from the start. It’s super masculine, clean, and captivating—the scent of clean masculinity. Agile, light, dynamic, sophisticated, modern, unique, and spectacular. A fragrance I beg not to disappear; it makes a difficult day pleasant and gray days enjoyable. Stands out in any climate or occasion. To feel comfortable, happy, calm, and complete. It represents masculinity in a practical, impeccable, positive, authentic, and sublime way. Versatile usage, any time of day or event, pure joy.
