The opening scent is a synthetic nightmare that doesn’t match the price at all. It reminds me of disinfectant, bug spray, or paint—an undefined chemical mix that ruins everything. It’s a shame because the dry down smells great, with florals, coconut, and vanilla, but that chemical note makes it unbearable. I’m not sure if it’s my skin, the batch, or if it’s just how the factory makes it, since I read in English that others have the same issue. The good news is it lasts forever and projects well, which is frustrating because bad smells usually outlast the good ones. Without that chemical note, it would be a perfect unisex fragrance, ideal for summer or the tropics. It’s the first perfume from this brand to disappoint me; a blend of gardenias, coconut, and vanilla should be a hit, but it’s one of the worst I’ve tried.
