  • The opening is mostly incense and myrrh; I’m having trouble finding the amber. It doesn’t really start to show up until after two hours. The drydown becomes sweeter with a light vanilla base. I notice the incense from the beginning to the end, plus a slight salty touch that I don’t entirely like. The performance seemed quite good; I can smell it for many hours and it’s noticeable. I’d only use it in cold climates and see it focused for night outings. Due to the strength of the incense, it felt more masculine than feminine to me.

  • The opening is heavy on frankincense and myrrh; the amber takes a couple of hours to emerge. Once it dries down, it turns sweet with a soft vanilla base. The frankincense lingers from start to finish with a salty nuance that doesn’t quite convince me. Performance is brutal—it projects massively. I’ll save this for cold weather and night outs. Given the strength of the frankincense, I see this as more masculine than feminine.

  • This juice is brutal! In my opinion, it’s sexual, wild, and predatory. A masterful amber blended with campfire ash that traps you and makes you crave cold to counter its heat. It’s worth a significant splurge, but luxury is sometimes worth it. I hope you try it as a decant. Sillage and longevity on skin are monstrous. Only for those over 30.

  • This juice is brutal! In my opinion, it’s sexual, wild, and predatory. A masterful amber mixed in campfire ash; it traps you and makes you crave cold to release its warmth. Worth a pasta, but sometimes luxury is worth it. Hope you try it on a decant. Sillage is great and longevity on skin is monstrous. For those over 30.

  • I received a sample from Rafasant in an exchange. I’m testing it and can only say… IT’S MIND-BLOWING!!! Too bad my wallet is limited because if it weren’t, I’d buy it right now. Ambra Aurea is an incredible mix of amber and smoky wood. Amber in all its glory: sweet, resinous, slightly powdery, with animal and raw touches, very smoky from the incense, almost liturgical but without falling into that trap. Beautiful, full of opulence. At first, I thought of ‘Ambre Fetiche’, but up close it’s cruder, more animalistic and sweet, though it projects something similar: resinous, leaden, and metallic amber. Then the incense kicks in, turning it into a balsamic, sweet, and very smoky amber, with smoky wood and sweet nuances. The rest is a wood and amber accord with subtle leather and patchouli touches, making it more complex and precious. It stays on the skin until it’s skin-scent only. A stunning oriental resin-based fragrance that cures hiccups. Performance is excellent, lasting over 10 hours on skin, with good sillage at first that drops to moderate, but it’s not a dud. It gradually fades until it disappears. A nighttime perfume for cold and temperate climates. A seduction weapon for elegant dates. Perfume for special occasions; a waste to use daily. A must for lovers of oriental and resinous scents. Unique beauty, not for everyone. You can smell the ingredient quality and the high price, but in my opinion, it’s worth every cent. Too bad my wallet isn’t more spacious to afford it now, but I won’t rule it out for the future.

High-quality fragrance, dark and deep, yet with an inner light and warmth that captivate. Ambra Aurea starts with a warm, opulent aura that radiates, surrounded by fine, silky smoke, highlighting myrrh, incense, and some labdanum. It transforms hour by hour, becoming sweeter each time. It’s not pure amber; amber isn’t the initial protagonist, which aligns with @Oscarsh86. It’s not cold or dry smoke; it’s balsamic, resinous, and flexible. Profumum Roma offers a straightforward construction but a complex fragrance, with exceptional durability and quality, like a bowl of warm liquid resin. Suitable for almost any occasion: noble, luxurious, and erotic. From the first date to cuddling with a book. Worth the investment if your wallet allows. (Courtesy of the great Darkbeat)

  • Amber? No, it’s pure incense. If you’re looking for warm amber, you’ll be disappointed. It projects little but lasts a long time. Like all fragrances from this house, they are linear without complex evolutions, but of high quality. You’ll get many compliments from incense lovers.

  • 36 hours of longevity, no joke. I smelled my wrist and it was still faintly there. The scent is addictive.

  • Lasts 36 hours and I’m not joking; I smelled my wrist and it was still faintly noticeable. The scent is addictive.

  • Profumum Roma is a reference house. Here, it evokes a liturgical, mystical room where faith becomes reality. Incense, myrrh, and resins offer tremendous depth and peace, with a dark touch—nothing celestial. A perfect and natural olfactory journey. The evolution is linear, but the notes are noticeable quickly; as it dries down, it becomes sweeter without losing its incense character. What a marvel. Ideal for cold weather and personal use. I don’t see it for dinners, it’s for me. Lasts a long time and projects well. A masterpiece.

  • Profumum Roma is a reference house for me. Here, it evokes a liturgical room, mystical, a place where faith becomes reality. A magic filled with incense, myrrh, and resins, profoundly deep and bringing me peace, though it has something dark, nothing celestial. These are aromas that take you on a unique olfactory journey, where I let myself be led by the creator with a perfect reality. It’s very natural and real. The evolution doesn’t change much, but the notes are detected quickly. When it dries down, it becomes sweeter without losing its incense character. What a wonder. For cold weather and personal enjoyment, I don’t see myself using it at dinners with people; it’s for me. It performs more than written and projects a lot. A masterpiece.

I tried it yesterday on a decant in Santiago. It’s extraordinary: an enchanting smoky vibe, like a fireplace in the rain with roasted hazelnuts. Very ceremonial and fascinating. Not for everyone, but for those who appreciate it, the colors match. I’m getting it.

  • Powerful unisex scent, but it clings to the skin. The sillage is minimal; you have to get very close to notice it.
