  • Thanks @joretumola, but if you like it after trying it, trust your own taste, not anyone else’s. XDD It’s a powerful perfume from Profumum Roma: patchouli with sandalwood, amber, and a hint of incense that I barely notice. Very well blended, balsamic, and of huge quality, quite linear with sensational performance—more than 15 hours on skin and notable sillage. I tested it from a single vial applied directly to the skin, without spray or roll-on, and it lasted 3-4 days, which is more than enough. Perhaps the best I’ve tried so far from this Italian niche brand, which I’ve already sampled several times. Suitable for all seasons (I don’t really believe in that), though better for fall-winter, day or night, preferably for serious occasions. Watch out, the price is prohibitive. Be clear about that and be a lover of the patchouli note.

  • Thanks a lot, @joretumola, but if you try it and like it, don’t trust anyone but your own taste. XDD. Powerful perfume from Profumum Roma with patchouli, sandalwood, amber, and a touch of incense. Very well blended, balsamic, linear, and with sensational performance, lasting over 15 hours on the skin. I tested it from a vial and it lasted for days. Maybe the best from this Italian brand so far. Suitable for all seasons, though better in autumn-winter, day or night, for serious occasions. The price is prohibitive. You have to be a patchouli lover.

  • Simple and linear patchouli, but with brutal quality and incredible longevity. Upon opening, the patchouli with amber is already there; the patchouli is earthy, dark, and potent, while the amber and a subtle woody touch accompany it. Gradually, the patchouli calms down and the amber takes center stage, with a clear vanilla note that, although not listed, is unmistakable. It’s a warm scent that wraps you in a cloud you don’t want to let go of. The evolution stagnates a bit towards the end. The performance is beastly: it lasts a long time and projects well. It’s totally unisex, with an opening that’s slightly masculine but becomes more feminine as it dries down. Ideal for cold weather; wearing it in extreme heat would be madness. I really like it; it reminds me of the amber-vanilla patchouli from Montale and Jovoy, but they’re not the same. The good: performance and scent. The bad: price and that only patchouli lovers will want it.

  • Simple and linear patchouli, but of great quality and amazing performance. From the start, you notice the earthy, potent patchouli alongside the amber. Gradually, the amber gains presence and vanilla appears. It smells warm and enveloping. It doesn’t evolve much after that. Tremendous performance and high projection. Totally unisex, masculine opening and feminine dry-down. Ideal for cold weather, madness in extreme heat. I liked it. It’s like Montale’s Patchouli Leaves or Jovoy’s Psichedelique, but not the same. Pros: performance and scent. Cons: price and that it will only appeal to patchouli lovers.

  • The accord revolves around a powerful, energetic patchouli with over 50% concentration. The amber gives it an oriental, balsamic vibe, with vanilla and spicy nuances. The incense creates a hazy aura. Tremendous quality, yields a lot on the skin. Projection is moderate but lasts for hours. I feel it’s very linear and predictable, a bit monotonous, but heavy and generous. I liked it quite a bit. Rating: 7.5

  • Don Giovanni

Must-try if you love patchouli. It’s up there with the L Villoresi one. Very versatile and on my skin, it lasts over 12 hours.

  • AntonioMad

Spectacular; on my skin, it’s a magic potion. At first strong, but it raises passions to a level never seen before. I keep it stored and get nervous when there’s not much left. It’s an infallible seduction weapon; I’ve even had clothes stolen because of the scent (well, they later said it smelled like me). Very personal opinion based on my experiences.

Spectacular; on my skin, it’s a magic potion. At first, I thought it was very strong, but when I started using it again, it ignited passions to a level never seen before. I keep it stored, and when it’s running low, I get nervous; for me, it’s an infallible weapon of seduction, until they stole my clothes because of that scent (well, later they said it smelled like me…). Very personal opinion based on my experiences.

  • The best patchouli perfume I’ve ever tried. I love this note in any version—woody, earthy, or chocolatey—and knowing the quality of this Italian house, I couldn’t resist trying it. It starts with patchouli wrapped in a sweet halo, not excessive, more from the sandalwood than the amber. Over time, the patchouli gains potency: it becomes earthy with chocolatey tints and a bit balsamic. It lasts many hours, is potent, sticks to the skin, and projects well, creating a large bubble. Then, the slight sweetness of the amber and sandalwood (now more the former) becomes more noticeable, though the patchouli still dominates, more blended and less earthy. Its longevity exceeds 12 hours on skin, and the projection is notable, being very noticeable after six or seven hours; in this regard, it’s exceptional. A curiosity: when I bought it over two years ago, it had the color in the photos, but now it’s dark brown, even though I keep it in a closed, cool, and dark closet. I read on the brand’s website that, due to its high natural content, the color can change and it’s normal. Honestly, the scent hasn’t changed at all. I use it on cloudy or rainy days in fall, winter, or early spring, which are the seasons that suit this aroma best. Never in summer, because it would be overwhelming. It’s for true patchouli lovers.

  • The best patchouli I’ve ever tried. I love the note in all its versions. The opening is sweet due to the sandalwood, then the patchouli becomes earthy and chocolatey. It lasts over 12 hours with great projection. Curiously, the color turns dark brown over time, something natural given the ingredients. I wear it on cloudy autumn or winter days, never in summer. For true patchouli lovers.

  • Thundra is supposed to smell like a forest, but on me, it only smelled like mushrooms with nail polish. That said, it does remind me of a walk through a damp forest.

  • Patchouly de Profvmvm is a delight; if it were chocolate, it would be To’ak. It’s for people who already know their way around perfumes and want to enjoy it with a partner, not to show off. It’s intimate, oily, and lasts on the skin for hours, making you smell natural and delicious. Forget about parties; this is for those who know what they want, like a fine-grind coffee or a Macallan in autumn. It’s sweet, wet, earthy, with a touch of sandalwood. If you like drawing attention with logos, this isn’t for you. It’s sophisticated and doesn’t smell like a hippie fair.
