I stumbled upon it by accident while searching for Fifty Four and instantly fell in love with Visionary Eye 😆. They told me the story with Bowie as the muse, but honestly, I don’t buy those briefs or that Bowie smelled like this. Ropion does a fine, elegant, and measured job. It’s a classic, masculine perfume, without being loud, but with that high perfumery refinement. It smells clean, almost cool. It reminds me of a blend of Le Male and Prada L’Homme filtered through luxury, smelling like a freshly ironed white shirt. The opening is spectacular: that iris with fresh lavender that fades but leaves an eternal magic. It’s elegant, creates a personal bubble, and has that magical effect that invites people closer. For now, I’m enjoying the official travel spray, which has a brutal atomizer for its size. We’ll see what I do with it ⚡️

I bought the fragrance and was gifted a generous 8ml sample. Without a doubt, it’s a worthy representation of JPG’s Le Male, but in a deeper sense. I imagine its strength lies in what Le Male had in its early versions. While it’s very clear, the iris is the perfect complement that adds a lot of class. Unfortunately, its performance isn’t the best, like the rest of Jusbox perfumes. I think it’s perfect for all year round, ideal as a signature scent, and very versatile. On my skin, it lasts about 6 hours and projects for about an hour more.
Finally, an iris that works for me! Forget the lipstick smell; it’s a masterpiece where sandalwood, musk, and lavender balance everything out. Totally unisex, 50/50, and I’ve already bought a 5ml decant to keep enjoying it.
