  • ShiseidoTactics

Another unisex fragrance I wouldn’t wear because it sounds 100% feminine to me. It’s an oriental where vanilla rules from start to finish. It smells delicious, no doubt. There are many types of vanilla, but here I sense the kind from a home kitchen, the most gourmand you can imagine. I think it should be on any top 10 list of vanilla perfumes ever made. I’ll clarify that the other notes are noticeable (with a bit of effort, but enjoyable); in fact, for moments I thought of cocada, that traditional Margarita drink made with coconut pulp, coconut water, and sugar, but only for nanoseconds did my olfactory memory take me there. The bottle is a work of art (as this Swedish house Agonist has come to expect from us). PS: Thanks Cnidaria for letting me smell this marvel.

Another unisex fragrance I wouldn’t use because it seems 100% feminine to me. It’s an oriental where vanilla is the alpha and the omega. It smells delicious, too much! There are various types of vanilla, but here I sense the kind from a home kitchen, the most gourmand you can visualize. I believe it should be on any top 10 list of vanilla fragrances ever attempted. I’ll clarify that the other notes are perceived (with a bit of effort, but enjoyable); in fact, for moments I thought of cocada, that traditional Margarita drink made with coconut pulp, coconut water, and sugar, but only for nanoseconds did my olfactory memory transport me to that scent. • Delicious and light cologne with milky almond vanilla—sweet but never cloying or heavy. Reminds me of a well-chilled almond horchata with vanilla, accented by enchanting flowers like creamy tiaré and a fresh fig note. The base (sandalwood, tonka bean, incense, buttery amber, and a hint of patchouli) is noticeable without being intrusive, inviting you to rub it into your skin and clothes. It’s a ‘vanilla eau de cologne,’ similar to classic citrus and herb blends but with a sweet, resinous twist. It evokes seaside settings, perfect for hot weather; the gourmand vibe comes from that horchata sensation. While perhaps more suited for women, it works well for men too. Not the most impactful or top-tier vanilla, but it would be a dream addition to my collection for days near the ocean. I like it—it’s subtle, delicate, and rich.
