After the delightful surprise that was Korloff-pour homme, this one isn’t, haha. Is it woody? Yes, but also very sweet, like a super-sweet woody scent. The performance is odd: it smells different on paper versus skin. On paper, it starts sweet and slowly gives way to the woodiness, lasting a few minutes before the sweetness fades into the background and disappears, leaving the woodiness to dominate—very nice and pleasant. To sum it up: sweet-sweet, woody-woody, with a touch of spice and even more woodiness. On my skin, it’s sweet, then sweet and slightly woody, settling into an eternal sweetness blended with a very subtle woody note. That sweet note reminds me of Guerlain, maybe L’Homme Ideal and La Petite Robe Noire, as if it mixes the almond of Ideal with the cherry of La Petite Robe Noire. Good quality and average performance.
