Oud for Happiness is my redemption after Oud for Greatness didn’t convince me. A vibrant scent with spicy and sweet nuances at first, where bergamot, licorice, and vanilla create a green, sweet, and striking profile. Sometimes I catch a green cannabis nuance blending with the musky and woody base. As it dries, it loses some effervescence, becoming more contained, soft, and creamy, while keeping its defined structure. I love it and think it’s unfair for it to stay in its predecessor’s shadow; here I truly feel that happiness, something unique. Perfect unisex fragrance, ideal for cold weather. Considering Initio’s prices, I think it’s worth it. I’d buy it without hesitation. Rating: 9/10

As it dries down, it loses some effervescence and becomes more contained, yet the base remains well-defined, softer, and creamier. I absolutely love it and think it would be unfair for it to stay in its predecessor’s shadow. I truly feel that sense of happiness; I haven’t smelled anything like it, even though I’m not familiar with similar ones suggested on the website. It’s perfectly unisex, best suited for cold weather, and considering Initio’s prices, I believe this one is worth the cost. I’d definitely buy it. Rating: 9/10

The scent, ignoring the notes, gives me that mystical feeling of church incense or palo santo… it doesn’t literally smell like that, but it conveys something unique I’ve never felt before. It’s gotten me compliments, mostly from women over 30 (my partner), while others are indifferent. I see it as unisex, masculine at first, but a dressed-up woman would wear it brilliantly. Only for winter, autumn, or summer-spring nights. It’s expensive, don’t let us lie, 280€ for 90ml, but it’s magical, different, and with that longevity and quality, it’s worth it; almost no one owns it, so it’ll be a fresh scent for everyone.

What a perfume! Is Initio becoming one of my favorite houses? I need to test it more, but from the start, I say I’ve never tried anything like it. Spiced opening with freshness from the bergamot, which then becomes heavier and darker due to the oud and cedar. There’s also a dark vanilla from the very beginning. I wouldn’t call it ‘soft spiced’; it’s quite heavy; I’d wear it on cold days or at night. Great perfume. Worth trying if you have a developed nose and curiosity for something different. 9/10.
An Oud for Greatness on steroids, exquisite. The difference is the sweet touch of licorice, the vanilla support, and that cannabis-like herbaceousness I feel more here than in Black Afgano. I’m just starting to explore it, but this is a beast of happiness, even if it’s ultimately a beast. Brutal longevity: two sprays and after six hours, even with a shower in between, it’s still there, not even close to the skin, projecting to an outstretched arm. For tranquility: ‘Oud for Greatness’. For brutality: ‘Oud for Happiness’. Brutality in the best sense, haha.

It’s versatile and easy to wear, unlike its sibling OFG; I see it as playful, attractive, and elegant. The quality is outstanding. Definitely worth it, I recommend it, and it could even be a blind buy since it’s so easy to wear. 9/10.

One of my favorite fragrances. It has a green vibe, an incredible licorice note, a soft oud that gives it body, and a vanilla with musk that creates a delicious creamy base.

I love the notes. I don’t know why I didn’t like it before. Its sibling, Oud for Greatness, makes it look dull. The citrus notes last a long time; the oud and cedar come out slowly, though in the last few hours I notice more musk and herbal tones.

I’m not a niche expert, nor do I have a nose for notes that give me a headache, but this perfume is very wearable. At first, it reminds me of Escale à Portofino, then a soft sweetness emerges that blends perfectly with the citrus and greens. If you like citrus with a sweet touch, this is for you. In the dry down, it leaves an elegant wood trail. A great find for me.

The longevity is top-notch (if you wear it on clothes, it lasts forever), the sillage is medium-low but constant in bursts. It’s super versatile despite its niche presentation. Plus, the bottle is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen 🙂
