The moment I saw the ad, I thought ‘I need this’, but when I tried it in-store, what a disappointment. The app promised a freshly made matcha latte, but I forgot that matcha smells and tastes bitter and herbal; that’s exactly what this perfume smells like—zero milky notes, neither in the bottle nor on the skin. I didn’t like it at all; I think it’s one of the few Zara scents that didn’t work for me, although the Matcha Mochi kids’ version is delightful and doesn’t smell bitter at all. I only detect matcha and musk. If you’re looking for something sweet or milky, this isn’t it.
