  • Just arrived Nishane perfume. I already own Ombre Leather by Tom Ford and Aqua di Parma Leather 2014; this one is very similar, like a fusion of both. Think Tom Ford sexier, Aqua di Parma rougher, and Nishane right in the middle. I grabbed it for €100 on sale to clear stock, but if I had to pick one, I’d go with this for quality and price—it’s very close to the Tom Ford. Hope this helps anyone undecided. Cheers.

  • Another delight from the Turkish house. I have a 2ml decant, and from the very first spray on my wrist, I couldn’t stop sniffing it. I’m already used to this type of aroma; I have several with similar DNA in my collection. A fragrance that overflows with quality and elegance, with great longevity and projection.

  • Smells very much like Ombre Leather, but feels more formal and sexy. That famous ‘stable’ and ‘saddle’ leather note might be too much for some; it can be hard to get compliments when wearing it. Still, it has class, like the finest saddle from the best stable. The ginger adds a fresh touch. It’s elegant, definitely for a mature, serious man.

  • Let me start by saying I’m biased and a loyal fan of this house, so keep that in mind. For those who know TF’s Ombre Leather, PDM’s Godolphin, Rasasi’s Nejma 1, or La Yuqawam, this is more of the same. One point to consider: being from this brand, I imagined something oriental, spicy, and exotic, but reality gave me a huge shock. Having said that, this highly crafted scent isn’t as repulsive as Rasasi’s; it feels lighter, higher quality, and more wearable. I’ll just say that this type of scent isn’t one of my favorites; of all I own, Godolphin remains my king. But respecting the creators, I know there are scents that just don’t work for everyone. For someone trying it for the first time without prejudice, I believe it’s one of the best alternatives. Mature, formal fragrance, perfect for intermediate seasons, and unisex. Scent 4.5/10, trail 9/10, projection 9/10, longevity 8.5/10.

Smells very similar to Ombre Leather, but I feel this one is more formal and sexy. That stable and saddle scent from the suede might be too much for some; getting compliments with it can be difficult. However, it has class, like the finest saddle in the best stable. The ginger adds a fresh touch. It’s elegant, definitely for a mature, serious man.

  • The classic leather and saffron combo, with the quality that befits the house and the perfumer.

  • Out of all in this style, this is my favorite and the one I keep in my collection. It feels the most refined, elegant, and high-quality; it smells like pure luxury with stellar performance. The curious part is that it acts opposite to Tuscan Leather: it opens super dry and dry with that wonderful raspberry note, sometimes sweet. Don’t even mention the bottle and spray, which make the experience even more enjoyable. Miaorrakech.

  • Out of all perfumes in this style, this is my favorite and the one I keep in my collection. It feels the most refined, elegant, and high-quality—pure luxury. The performance is stellar. Interestingly, it acts opposite to Tuscan Leather: it opens super dry and dries down with that wonderful smoky raspberry note, sometimes sweet. The bottle quality and spray are top-notch, making the experience even more enjoyable. Miaorrakech.

  • At first, bought blind and cheap, it was a total flop. I had 15 designer perfumes and this was my first niche; I tossed it and thought I’d made a mistake. A few months later, with 20 niche and 70 designer scents, I’m blown away. It’s spectacular, smells like suede, and has incredible longevity and projection. It’s now in my top 3 and I think I’ve found my forever scent. Heads up, my nose is different: Ombre Leather smells like new leather and tanned hide to me, while this Nishane one smells like almost raw suede. Totally different, but Nishane’s quality rivals Tom Ford’s. Of course, from Lima.

  • Reminds me a lot of Ganymede, though wearing them together they smell like two completely different things. It’s good, but I still prefer the Quentin Bisch version.

  • Reminds me a lot of Ganymede, although when I smell them together, they have nothing in common. It’s good, but I’ll stick with the Quentin Bisch version.

  • Blind buy, but don’t do it: Tuscan Leather Extreme is a beast. I wore it one winter after a shower and the scent clung all day. Perfect for anyone over 30. If you’re a One Million fan, this isn’t for you. The quality is evident, though three sprays might be too much.

  • The good: it’s the best Tuscan Leather inspiration. The bad: yet another clone of that fragrance, adding to the thousands that already exist.

  • Pros: The best Tuscan Leather inspiration. Cons: Another Tuscan Leather inspiration (one of thousands).

  • Blind buy (don’t do it): Tuscan Leather Extreme. I wore it one winter evening after a shower, and the scent lingered all day. If I had to guess an age, it’s for 30+. If you’re coming from One Million, this isn’t for you. The quality is noticeable, though three sprays might be too much.
