  • An interesting proposal from Nishane where the patchouli, despite being the star, doesn’t overpower the rest. It has three well-defined phases: an herbal-floral opening, followed by a pipe-smoke incense that dominates, and finally a honeyed, balsamic amber. The patchouli isn’t earthy; it’s minty. The incense is curious—nothing liturgical or barbecue-like, just a very pleasant tobacco smoke. After a while, the honey takes over, making it sweet, with the patchouli more hidden. It easily lasts eight hours without complaint. It’s more masculine but would suit a girl too. Ideal for cold weather, night, and formal wear; not for sweatpants. I loved it; I expected a more classic, earthy patchouli, but this captivated me even though I’m not a huge fan of the note. Fine notes and top-notch quality. The only flaw: the price is outrageous.

  • Opens with propolis, then balances out as it dries with chamomile, honey, and patchouli standing out.

  • At first sniff, it felt like the perfect touch for a date: it smells like rich chocolate and performs incredibly well.

  • Ambered, balsamic, and liquorice-like patchouli—I don’t detect the declared liquorice note, I assume it’s the blend of incense, honey, and the rest. Potent, masculine, and definitely something you need to try before buying.

  • On my skin, Nishane’s Patchouli Kozha is basically patchouli with green and woody notes, built on a base of animal leather and incense. Cold, it’s versatile for formal and semi-formal occasions. Although unisex, I see it as more masculine due to the initial roughness of the patchouli. It lasts about 8 hours and projects about a meter and a half for the first two hours, then settles into a personal bubble that’s still noticeable. As always, test niche fragrances on your skin before buying; don’t trust the bottle alone.

  • Very dark, dense, and deep fragrance. The opening is a blast of incense, animal leather, and potent patchouli. A few minutes later, that explosive edge fades, giving way to black pepper, subtle green notes, and a sweet, creamy honey-chamomile base. By the end, it stays fairly linear, just sweeter and more woody. Reminds me of Laudano Nero, but here it smells more natural and less synthetic. I detect some oud, even though it’s not listed. Overall, it’s interesting—perfect for cool days, elegant, semi-formal, and looks great with a leather jacket. It has serious character, feels mature and more masculine. I’d say anyone over 30 would appreciate it. Sillage is more than moderate, projecting about 50 cm and lasting 8 hours on my skin. Scent: 8.5/10 Sillage: 8.5/10 Projection: 8.0/10 Longevity: 8.5/10

  • On my skin, Patchouli Kozha is a green, woody patchouli with an incense-drenched animal leather base. Cold, it’s versatile for formal or semi-formal events. Although unisex, it feels more masculine to me because of the patchouli’s initial roughness. • It starts with propolis, but as it dries, it balances out with chamomile, honey, and patchouli taking the lead.

Alcoholic patchouli with chocolate undertones and distinct herbal notes. The honey and ylang-ylang add a creamy sweetness that softens it significantly. Despite the dark juice and notes suggesting density, it doesn’t feel heavy or overwhelming. As it dries, the patchouli becomes minty and fresh, balancing everything out and making it even more interesting.
