  At first, it’s a mix of pine, cypress, and eucalyptus that gives the impression that Christmas has arrived and you have a real pine tree in the living room. After fifteen minutes, the green scent fades, leaving behind dry, natural pine wood, like firewood or dried leaves on a branch, combined with patchouli and moss. The performance isn’t the best, and honestly, it hasn’t fully convinced me.

  It might not be Penhaligon’s crown jewel if you have a great sense of smell, but it smells fresh and wakes you up without falling into the typical citrus trap. The trail and projection are more than enough for daytime wear without needing to overapply. The best part is that with pine, eucalyptus, and cypress, it doesn’t smell like floor cleaner; it works perfectly for me on busy days.
