Excellent Black Orchid dupe; you can really feel Daniel Josier’s hand and his atelier’s influence, who started by selling bulk equivalents. They had a shop in Sabadell and made custom perfumes. You can tell they’re improving little by little; although there’s a false image that he trained with Ellena, they have interesting compositions.
It’s very similar to Black Orchid; in fact, Black Widow seems like a nod to that composition. But here there’s more fruit and acidity, less earthiness, with blackcurrant taking the lead (to me, it smells like blueberry). What surprises me most is the longevity, which beats Tom Ford, and the quality. Unisex and captivating.
Divine! Daniel taught me about it himself. Loads of truffle with a floral twist.
Even though the name sounds like a dark bomb, it’s a super wearable fruity citrus with a touch of talc. Perfect if you don’t want to take a risk.
