Tuberose is a classy, charming, and hard-to-ignore neroli, even for those who usually avoid this flower. It’s not intoxicating or aggressive to the senses; it’s kindness, delicacy, and subtlety with a commanding presence that balances the mood and clears the mind. Wearing it is like walking through a sunny garden where the neroli, discreet, allows you to enjoy the ylang-ylang, heliotrope, osmanthus, jasmine, and gardenia. Fruity notes like berries, grapefruit, and a hint of pink pepper add a bit of mischief, while nutmeg, ylang-ylang, and jasmine appear politely afterwards. The neroli reigns with an enveloping scent that puts me in a ‘zen’ state. At the end, vanilla, musk, and oak moss close this melody of peace. Daniel Josier creates chords that are enjoyable alone or together; it’s impossible not to like this selection. Despite hating neroli, I love it and feel it’s the perfume of an angel. Thank you, Daniel, for fragrances that are lived experiences.
Tuberose is a soft neroli with charming manners, of great class, hard not to like, even for those of us who shy away from neroli, and I include myself in that group. If you’re looking for a neroli perfume that’s intoxicating to the point of attacking your senses, then Tuberose isn’t the one. I insist that Tuberose is kindness, delicacy, and subtlety, but above all, it has a commanding presence; it’s a perfume that puts you in balance, stabilizes your mood, clears your thoughts, and frees your soul from negative feelings. Tuberose embodies purity and gifts you purity; that’s the vibe of such a lovely perfume. Wearing Tuberose is like walking on a beautiful sunny day through a lovely garden full of flowers, where the most striking flower in that sublime landscape is the neroli, but it’s a discreet neroli that kindly allows you to appreciate the beauty of the other flowers accompanying it. Along the way, you find ylang-ylang, then comes the lovely heliotrope, osmanthus, jasmines, and even hidden among so many flowers, you can see the gardenia in the distance. Tuberose unfolds its beauty with very fruity notes: wild berries, grapefruit, and a little pink pepper that adds mischief to the fragrance. After a couple of minutes, the notes of nutmeg, exotic, sweet, and even sensual ylang-ylang, the unmistakable jasmine, and of course the king of perfumes, the neroli, appear politely. This intoxicating and enveloping neroli scent makes me fly, leaving me in a ‘zen’ state. At the end, vanilla, musk, and some oak moss join this melody of peace. As in all of Daniel Josier’s creations, the chords of his perfumes always remain there; you can enjoy them separately or together, forming that great melody. I like Tuberose, and I repeat that I hate neroli, yet the entire ensemble of chords is so beautiful that it’s impossible not to like such a selection of flowers, fruits, and spices. I don’t want to deprive myself of the sensations this perfume gifts me; it could very well be the perfume of an angel. Many thanks, Mr. Daniel Josier, because with each fragrance, you not only gift us beautiful aromas but also incredible sensations and states of mind; his perfumes are lived experiences.
I love Josier fragrances; this is a beautiful and modern interpretation of a unisex floral. Launching a perfume based on tuberose is difficult: you have to accompany it without covering it up or making it clash. Daniel Josier is a master at this. It’s a masterclass in combinatorial sensitivity and formal beauty. It’s suitable for any occasion or season. It opens with slightly spiced flowers and blends sweetly without losing its floral origin. Good performance and worthy projection that denotes quality. Highly recommended.
TUBEROSE, a great discovery by Daniel Josier. A little goes a long way; it lasts all day. I use it for special occasions, cold days, and also at night in the summer. I never go unnoticed; I receive many compliments. It’s intense, elegant, and exclusive, a work of art. There’s no comparison; it’s unique. I don’t consider it expensive; it’s worth every penny. I can’t live without it; it’s very good.
Subtle, bright, and modern neroli perfume. The neroli is the protagonist, but it’s not overpowering or intoxicating. From the start, it’s marked by grapefruit, along with spices like nutmeg, which nuance the fragrance. It’s a delicate, pleasant, and easy-to-wear citrus-white floral with a spicy twist. I find it more feminine than unisex. I like it a lot for its delicacy, luminosity, and understated elegance. It has good longevity and leaves a trail. For me, it’s the best ‘feminine’ perfume by Daniel Josier.
TUBEROSE, a great discovery by Daniel Josier. A little goes a long way; it lasts all day. I use it for special occasions, cold days, and also at night in the summer. I never go unnoticed; I receive many compliments. It has great longevity and sillage. The bottle is a luxury, and the perfume is a majestic work of art: intense, elegant, exclusive, and versatile. It’s a great niche perfume, unique and without comparison. I don’t consider it expensive because it’s worth every penny. I won’t be able to live without it; it’s very good.
Subtle, bright, and modern neroli. The neroli takes the lead, but without being overpowering or intoxicating. From the start, it’s marked by grapefruit, along with spices, especially nutmeg. It’s a delicate and elegant citrus-white floral with a spicy twist, easy to wear. I find it more feminine than unisex. I love its delicacy, luminosity, and understated elegance. It lasts a long time and leaves a trail. For me, it’s the best ‘feminine’ floral by Daniel Josier.
Once again, I was worried about whether investing in Josier was worth it (so far, always yes); I bought Tuberose because of my love for neroli. I was concerned it might be the same as others in my collection, but I found something different: a natural and realistic neroli, seasoned with a warm spicy touch. I love the nutmeg, rarely felt so prominent. The floral heart, with neroli as the protagonist, shines with a sweet ylang-ylang and a subtle carnation aroma. Although it’s a potent floral composition, to my nose, it feels clean, not animalic. It’s a heavy but wearable floral, very sensual and enjoyable. Perhaps more feminine, but its spicy notes make it unisex. Moderate projection and over 12 hours of longevity. In comparisons, it sometimes reminds me of Organza, but the neroli has nothing to do with Micallef’s Watch. If you like florals, it’s a great fragrance. Scent 8/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 7.5/10, Value 8.5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 8.5/10. Would I buy it again? Probably.
I hesitated again, just like with other Josier fragrances, wondering if it was worth it, but yes, it is. I bought Tuberose for the neroli. What I feared was that it would sound like others in my collection, but it’s unique: a natural, realistic neroli with a warm spicy touch. I love the nutmeg, which is rarely felt this way. The floral heart shines with ylang-ylang and a subtle carnation. Although it’s potent, it smells clean, not animalic. It’s sensual and I enjoy it immensely. Perhaps it’s more feminine, but the spices make it unisex. Moderate projection and over 12 hours on skin. It reminds me a bit of Organza, but has nothing to do with Micallef’s Watch. If you like florals, it’s a great find. Scent 8/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 7.5/10, Value 8.5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 8.5/10. I would buy it again.
Floral, sweet, and creamy… I love how it dries down; it looks spectacular on a woman.
