This version of Lolita is softer than the EDP, which was the one I actually wanted. At first, it feels very spicy, I think due to the pepper note, and a bit acidic, before turning into something sweet, slightly floral, feminine, and warm with musk; I don’t dislike it. I would have liked it to last longer on the skin; I’ve had to reapply it, approximately 4 to 5 hours. It seems suitable for daily, daytime use; I don’t think it would offend any nose. To my taste, it’s comfortable.
I bought the EDT out of fear it would be too strong; a huge mistake, because unfortunately, it doesn’t last long and it’s a charming, original, sparkling scent. It invites joy and getting active. It’s funny how at first it seems like you’ve been dusted with pepper and you almost want to sneeze, but then, once it settles, it leaves a scent that’s between spicy and sweet, very cozy and warm, reminiscent of spice bread, ginger cookies, or natural spice soaps from herbal shops. I agree it’s more of a daytime fragrance. As a personal scent, it’s very pretty, as not many people use it and there aren’t many perfumes that resemble it much. A girl like this, who qualifies as a ‘quake,’ extroverted, a joker… it would fit her perfectly.
I accidentally received the EDT version instead of the EDP. I must say I really liked the scent; it’s very rich, and the pepper is noticeable. If you apply too much, it can overwhelm the nose, but if you don’t apply much, in my case, I feel like I’m not smelling anything. On my skin, it had good projection for the first two hours, then became very faint and I had to reapply. It gained strength again for a couple of hours and then nothing. It’s a real pity, but whatever. In the future, I plan to buy the EDP version, but for now, I’m sticking with this.
I bought it blindly at an outlet because they said it was no longer on the market and it was worth having. I was hesitant after trying Lolita Lempicka (the purple apple), which was too much for me, but this is totally different and made me close my eyes in enjoyment the moment I sprayed it on my wrist. It’s a unique scent; I’d say unisex at first, then more feminine and subtle. I’m fascinated—it’s exquisite, not cloying, and I can’t stop smelling my wrist. I feel it’s sophisticated, and I love that it’s not that typical sweet feminine fragrance; it’s sparkling and distinctive, fitting neither the sweet nor the citrus category. It reminds me of some men’s aftershaves; it must be that musk they mention, a warm scent with musk as defined. I feel lucky to be able to wear it. I didn’t find it spicy; I think the perfume should be spicier, but I’m waiting to try it because I got it at a good price. After tasting this delight, I couldn’t hold back and went for the perfume.
Rich, addictive… soft yet present… it captivates me.
It reminds me of Rose Cabotine with that pink pepper note, featuring soft projection and medium longevity of 4 to 6 hours. It’s not spectacular, but it smells great for everyday wear—unobtrusive and non-invasive. It has an elegant, floral, and clean touch. I got it at an excellent price, so I applied it generously. Rose Cabotine is stronger and cheaper than Lolita, but Gres is the synthetic side, while Lolita is the refined, natural, and elegant side. Gres runs about $20 for 100 ml, while Lolita hovers around $60 for the same size.
The EDT is much more wearable than the EDP, where the pepper and resins are intense and can feel heavy. It’s the same olfactory DNA but softer, with a rich citrus note that lasts all day. Perfect for summer, day or night. I prefer it for its richness. Unfortunately, like 90% of Lolitas, it’s discontinued, hard to find, and pricey, but if I can snag another bottle at a good price, I’ll buy it without hesitation.
The EDT is much more wearable than the EDP, which feels too heavy for some due to the pepper and resins. It’s the same DNA and smells identical, but softer with a rich citrus note that lasts all day. Perfect for summer, day or night. I absolutely love this EDT; it’s gorgeous. Unfortunately, like 90% of Lolitas, it’s discontinued, hard to find, and sells for a premium. If I can snag another bottle at a good price, I’ll definitely buy it.
