Its opening unfolds with top notes of Laotian oud, ginger, pear, incense, and Calabrian bergamot. The heart reveals heart notes of cyperus (nagarmota), galia (civet), leather, sambac jasmine (sampaguita), Singapore patchouli, amber, and Bulgarian rose (Bulgarian Damask rose). The trail settles on base notes of musk, Siamese benzoin, and Australian sandalwood.

Fresh rose, unisex, with a good bergamot note and a sweet water base. A well-layered aroma, but with a feminine hint that I don’t like. Leather appears when it dries, but very vaguely. Tested on a sample.
I have mixed feelings about it. Sometimes it dries down well, smelling hard but pleasant; other times it dries so much that it smells cheap. As an artistic piece, it’s a gem. It’s what you expect from a leather scent: to shake you up. It’s inspired by a saddle, and boy, it is. Strong, with presence, and it draws attention. It gets a bit complicated due to that typical sour leather note on skin. But if you make it to Comporta, those tones won’t scare you anymore. I see it as ideal for those over 25. I don’t feel it’s youthful, but rather active and clean, despite the leather. It brings to mind someone sophisticated, perhaps due to the suede. It’s versatile, as long as you’re not wearing sportswear.
As a Cuban, smelling this is weird. At first, it’s hard to grasp due to its complexity, but it’s meant for special occasions—a pure moment of elegance. Nothing youthful; more mature, for someone 30+ dressed formally. It has a strong oud and a wild touch, not for everyone. Wait, a 10! It seemed oxidized in the valve and smelled off at first, but I’ve tested it enough and believe me, it’s exquisite. Distinct character and spectacular. I loved it, but it’s not for those seeking sweet, youthful perfumes.
