Interesting. At first, strong iodine, a hint of fresh watermelon and sea salt—a watery note not listed on Fragrantica. Then, creamy florals and something toasted almond-like. The powdery floral side gains strength over time, but the salty atmosphere remains alive and present. I usually hate marine perfumes; calone gives me nausea, but this blend? I love it.
This is a perfume where mimosa rules. It’s a flower I love, but sometimes I’m overwhelmed by its pollen-like sweetness. Here, it’s accompanied by a salty or marine note. Beyond that, I don’t detect much else, and it doesn’t smell like talc. The trail is potent and lasts more than 12 hours on my skin. I’d wear it more and in different seasons to see if it wins me over or drives me crazy, because it’s an original and interesting composition even though it’s so simple. Maybe I’ll get the large bottle if we get past our differences, since I barely own any perfumes with mimosa, and none where it takes center stage. Scent 7/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 9/10, Value 7.5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy again? No, I haven’t purchased it.
