I didn’t detect any cherry; what’s obvious is pineapple and sugar. Lots of sugar, like they dusted a huge pile over a piece of pineapple. It comes across as very direct and quite persistent. I can smell the vanilla, but it’s very, very in the background. I thought it might be similar to Hayati from Attar Collection—with pineapple, red berries, a little ice cream, cream… but nothing alike: Hayati is much richer, mainly because the raspberry takes charge there. The longevity is good and the trail is moderate.

It’s very similar to Sugar, with that super-sweet pineapple that hooks you if you love powerful fruity aromas; it’s definitely not subtle. To be called Ruby, the cherry doesn’t stand out as much as the pineapple; it should probably be called ‘Amber’ instead.

It’s very similar to Sugar, with that super-sweet pineapple that hooks you if you like bold fruity scents. It’s not discreet at all. To be called Ruby, the cherry doesn’t stand out as much as the pineapple; it should probably be called ‘Amber’ instead.

Love at first sniff. After buying a decant, it just kept growing on me. It is indeed a very fruity perfume with barely a creamy base. It opens with that juicy cherry and then dries down to something tighter. In my opinion, it might appeal more to the general female audience, but don’t hesitate to try it if you’re a man. Anyway, so far, it’s the best cherry perfume I’ve tried.

Love at first sniff, then I tried a decant and it just kept winning me over. It’s a well-fruity scent with barely any creamy base; it opens with that juicy cherry and then dries down to something more concentrated and intense. In my opinion, it would suit the general female audience better, but don’t skip it if you’re a man. Anyway, so far it’s the best cherry perfume I’ve ever tried.

  6. HAPPILY SURPRISED! EVEN THOUGH RUBY ISN’T DEEP, I REALLY SENSE THE QUALITY. THE RED BERRIES BLEND WITH THE CHERRY AND A VERY SOFT COCONUT. THEN IT MOVES TO LOADS OF BROWN SUGAR AND ICE, ALL SUBTLE. IT’S SWEET AND FASCINATES ME. LONG-LASTING WITH A MODERATE Sillage. IT HAS SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU FALL IN LOVE. IT DOESN’T REMIND ME OF HAYATI OR STRICNINA, WHICH I DISLIKE. I THINK IT’S MORE FEMININE THAN MALE. LOVE AT FIRST SNIF.

THEN IT MOVES TO LOADS OF BROWN SUGAR AND ICE, ALL SUBTLE. IT’S SWEET AND FASCINATES ME. LONG-LASTING WITH A MODERATE Sillage. IT HAS SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU FALL IN LOVE. IT DOESN’T REMIND ME OF HAYATI, WHICH I OWN, NOR STRICNINA, WHICH I DISLIKE. I THINK IT’S MORE FEMININE THAN MALE. LOVE AT FIRST SNIF.

  8. AMAZING! What a beastly fruity bomb. If you like fruits, this is for you. (Spoiler: not for me): A cherry opening worthy of an honor medal, the best cherry I’ve ever smelled, but it doesn’t last long; the star soon emerges: the pineapple. The pineapple lady who dominates everything, but it gets sweet and creamy… honestly, it’s a Michelin-star dessert made into perfume. Very feminine and of unquestionable quality. It’s not for me, but I understand why the world is in love with it.

First impression: It starts with a super-sweet and sharp cherry. It took me a while to get used to that initial phase because I’m not a fan of ‘syrup’ scents, but as it dries down, the magic begins! The cherry remains, though the syrup sensation fades to give way to creamy, sweet, and sugary maraschino cherries. I loved it so much I had to buy it. Ideal for very cold days! ———————————— Review: After using it for several days, I can give a more detailed opinion. I still notice that intense maraschino cherry, but now I detect the pineapple I didn’t smell at the perfumerie. It adds sweetness and acidity, blending great with the cherry; it’s noticeable but doesn’t take away the spotlight. Once it settles on the skin, the sweet notes start to stand out, making the cherry the sweetest and most addictive I’ve ever smelled. Without a doubt, it’s one of my favorites among cherry perfumes (the other is Maraschino by Sospiro). I don’t smell it like Stricnina V Canto, which I also enjoy.

  12. It was a blind buy. I liked the opening; it’s exactly like a piña colada, I detect juicy pineapple and coconut. However, on my skin, it comes out with a very sharp musk. It lasts for hours.
